Review: The Rock Says is one of the Newyork Time's #1 best sellers. This book will show you the true life of a man we call "THE ROCK".The Rock is known "as one of the most electrifying men in sport's entertainment".From People's Champ to People's Chump, this is a great book.
Rating: Summary: This book is GREAT! Review: The Rock Says is one of the best books I've read in a long time.I read the whole thing in about three hours.By the time I finished reading,I knew a lot more about Dwayne Johnson. This book is very funny, and I don't see why anyone would give it a bad review.
Rating: Summary: Best book I ever read! Review: This book has got to be the greatest book I ever read. before reading this book I was stuck like a rock in a hard place in deciding what I want to do for a living. I've always kept wresling in the back of my mind because I always wanted it to be a possibility, but now my mind has decided. I want to be a wrestler like the Rock. I know it's a hard road to travel but I will have the dedication to make it. And it's all because I read this book. Vince Mcmahon, I hope you read this because your gonna have to get the WWF ready for me. Thank you Rock, I've been in a career deciding limbo and your book has taken me out of it.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS TERRIBLE Review: This is a warning. Do not buy this book is you are expecting anything close to what Foley has written. Im not going to get in depth about what I didnt like about this book because there are too many things. I will just point out the major problems it has.First of all, The Rock has only been in the business for a few years. One day he woke up and decided that he wanted to become a wrestler and a year later he was on WWF tv. And it did not have anything to do with his wrestling talent. He had many inside connections. Although I will admit that it was his carisma and althletic skills that made him a star.Another problem with the book is that the Rock is not totally honest and does not tell enough about the things that go on back stage. He holds back and is afraid to give the dirt on some of the other wrestlers who dont deserve his silence.Mic Foley tells about other wrestlers and promoters who have wronged him. Why sould we buy this book if he is not going to tell all. I would have given this book three stars but he loses two for annoying me.Only buy this book if you are a huge Rock fan or if you are very curious. I am a huge wrestling fan who was curious.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: It kept interested all the way through the book. IT was interesting how he would come in and out of char. from time to time. It was intresting seeing how Dwayne Johnson and The Rock co-exist. I love "The Rock" and how he acts and when he went into Char. it was fun and interesting to read, yet it was great to hear from Dwayne grew up and how he became the rock and how he gets along with the other wrestlers and how things work behind the curtian. I am not much of a reader, but I couldn't put this book down.
Rating: Summary: Cool Book Review: This is a book for all the Rocks fans. If you liked "Have a Nice Day" you will love this book. Rock decribes his whole life in this book. This is a great book to read just for fun. "The Rock Says" is the most electrifying book ever.
Rating: Summary: Terrible Review: This book was nothing compared to Mick Foley's. Johnson plays himself out to be Saint Rocky. I like the Rock alot as a wrestler, but he's only been in the business for 3 years. THREE! The purpose of these books is to tell about their wrestling career. Mick was in for 15 years; compare that to the Rock's 3. And it is poorly written and much too short.
Rating: Summary: THE PEOPLE'S BOOK Review: Contrary to what other reviewers say, Dwayne Johnson did not have his career handed to him. Before becoming a wrestler, he lived a hellish life in Canada playing in the CFL. Even after he began wrestling, he was sent to Memphis for six months toshow his stuff. I am also glad to know that the Rock appreciates and respects his millions AND MILLIONS of Rock's fans.
Rating: Summary: Good Book Review: The Rock Says is one of the best books I've ever read. i recomended it to anyone who is a fan of the Rocks.
Rating: Summary: The Most Electrifying Book Ever! Review: This books is great. A must for every wrestling fan. This book gives you the complete story of The Rock from pre-birth to present day, including all his memorable matches and events in his life. The Rock expresses himself in a way that no other person can. This is the best book I have ever read. You must read it, If You Smelllllllllllllll What The Rock... Is Cookin'!
