Summary: I have to disagree - the Cineverse series is awesome!
Review: I loved all 3 of these books - wry and witty, yet charming and childishly innocent at the same time, Gardner takes you in to his mixed up world where superheroes reign and the good guys always win (except in movies set in the 1970's). I heartily recommend the entire series!

Review: The Cineverse cycle is an act of pure genius, it remains fast and fun whilst steering clear of any particular subject at all. If you found the Teletubbies/Tweenies funny yet scary this is the book for you. This book could easily be made in to a cartoon, as is brilliantly illustrated by Josh Kirby on the books front cover. I would say that this is a special book and is great reading material for a younger child entering the vast world of teenage and aldult literature.
