Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Paxon's The Wind Crystal
Review: The sixth book in the Westria Series, the Wind Crystal is another fine effort from Diana Paxson. Julian's battle continues, as he works to preserve the Kingdom from the destructive power of Caolin, the Blood Lord, and his minions. Searching for the Wind Crystal, he grows and changes to fit the needs of the Land.

The story line is strong, the background at once reminiscent of several different folklores and also original in its own right. There is strong emphasis on music and lyric, its power to heal or destroy, which was quite pleasing.

Overall, a very enjoyable book, I read this all in one sitting.
