Summary: From the author
Review: Hello, this is my first book. Its the story about a young warrior named Hesarius. His village of Otala is attacked by mysterious raiders. Although they were successfully repelled, there are some deaths and one abduction, Hesarius's beloved Meanne. He is sent by Zorlac the White Dragon to find and rescue her. Hesarius has never left Otala before and is thrust into s world that is alien to him. He makes many friends, including Celot the blood-brother of his father Axlor, ElSeveena an elven bardess who finds Hesarius attractive, Jasonius the famous White Warlock and many others. Hesarius goes on many adventures, most of which not only proves his role as warrior, but his role as a hero too. But he soon learns there is more to this quest. Meanne is more than who she seems and this is more than her rescue. Hesarius soon becomes part of a journey which will change the fate of ancient Xenar forever. Now this is my first book and the first book in my Ancient Xenar series. Right now I am working on the second book in the Anciebt Xenar series, Tales of Ancient Xenar: Lover's Lore. I will have that book done in early 2001. Meanwhile, enjoy this book.

Summary: A modest review from a tomato farmer
Review: Yes, I bought this book a few months ago and read and I'd like to say I pretty much liked it. I thought the characters were pretty well-written. I liked some of the sex scenes in it, that made the story pretty interesting, but sex is not what this book is all about. Its about a warrior named Hesarius who tries to save his girlfriend from the forces of the black dragon. But the story changes as it progresses and his mission seems to change. He soon has to not only save her, but save all. I cannot tell you why he does this, because I don't want to ruin the surprise. But this story is good. Also, aside from the story, I noticed Jason Price put some hidden references to many things in this book. I noticed a spell used was called "Prime Mover" which is the title of a Rush song. Also, ther green dragon's name Yddge is an anagram of the name of Rush's lead singer, Geddy Lee. This book kinda reminds me of Where's Waldo. I have found 5 references so far. So even if you don't enjoy this story, at least you'll have fun looking for the hidden references.
