Summary: A fantastic childrens book
Review: I can't remember where I got this book, but it doesn't matter. I loved this book. My twin sister even loved this book, and she hated to read. The book is about three children. The three children. The three children gave me the ability to place myself among them, instead of just reading about them. I put myself in the place of the children, and seen myself doing what they were doing. It was great for my imagination. The ending of the book kind of left me hanging there wondering what would happen next, but like I said, it increased my imagination. I took over and made my own ending, which I thought was perfect.

The children had this egg they had to care for, while they went looking for another dragons egg, which someone evil had. So this book puts the child in a place where they are the ones on the good side.

Rose Estes put herself in the childs shoes as she wrote this book. She wrote from her childhood memories and how she wanted to read a book as a child. And she did a fantastic job at it. I would not change a thing about this book. Its easy to read, it catches the childs attention, and pulls the child into the book. There is nothing complicated about it. I give this book my highest rating.

Summary: Why no sequel?
Review: I read this book back in Junior High, and I loved it so much that I've been looking out for a sequel ever since. (I am now years past Junior High...) Why wasn't there ever a sequel??

Summary: I read this book in 5th grade and loved it
Review: This is a great childrens book, very imaginative. I enjoyed the story about the dragon keeper and his children haveing to go and live with the dragon. This book was the first dragon book i'd ever read and ever since i've been in love with dragons. When ever I think of dragon ranks for books I think blackto be most powerful and evil, red, medium power level and then the green one or blue i can't remember was the weakest and a runt.
