Review: I am surprised to find that this book is out of print - I found The Mountain Made of Light to be a very entertaining and worthwhile read. The story concerns Jesse O'Keefe, a young anthropologist who discovers a "lost" indigenous civilization living in the Andes mountains. The plot is fantastically crafted, the writing has a very Indiana-Jonesish quality, and the characters and culture are likable, if not entirely believable. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a decent treasure-hunt adventure!
