Summary: Enchanting and captivating
Review: A wonderful ride in the fantasy/romance/adventure genre. This book has something for just about everyone. Dark Watcher brings a new perspective on the ways the magical and mundane worlds co-exist, and I love the way Ms. Saintcrow blends magic and romance into a compelling story.

Summary: Dark Watcher
Review: All Thea wanted was a simple life, running her magic shop with her best friend Suzanne, maybe getting to go to Mexico someday. She's hardly the type you'd expect to be one of the most powerful Lightbringers to ever live, but she is, unknown to herself until her Watcher finds her. In taking her under his protection, Dante draws her into the war between light and darkness that has raged for centuries. As the passion between them ignites, so does the battle, forcing them to make choices and sacrifices that will affirm life and rend their hearts. In this story, the contrast between the lightly humorous world Thea has existed in and the seriousness of her new life has the same effect of light and shadow in a Renoir, making a sharp distinction in the mind's eye so that the poignant end is even more so.

Summary: Practical magick, impractical love...
Review: I love witchy-fiction. I adore a good "take me away" story with a magickal twist. I crave a feel-good adventure with the taste of enchantment. Lilith Saintcrow has created a world with her bewitching words for me to play in. She has conjured a story that is a lustfully alive and touches on the magic that lives along side of us in the daylight world. This is sorcery, indeed! More! More!

Summary: awesome.
Review: This is the best book I've read in a long, long time.

This book captures the reader's interest right away with its engaging characters, proceeds suspensefully (with intervals of tasteful romance, and the occasional slightly comical moment to break the tension), and builds to a stunning crescendo which actually made me cry. People, I *never* cry over books. I'm an editor. Anyway, I won't spoil the fun for you by providing a synopsis. What better way to spend your autumn evenings than with a page-turner like this?
