Review: If you liked Brin's Uplift Series, you'll like this story. Man has found a way to raise the intelligence of animals and making them thinking, reasoning beings (i'm not gonna tell you how), and of course this brings on a whole new set of social problems. Read the book. It was a fun read, I read it through in only two sittings. Simon Hawke has written a humorous and entertaining tale. Catseye was a great character, callus with a wicked sence of irony. The book had me laughing out loud.

Review: This was one of the first science fiction books I picked up off the bookshelves. It was the one that got me hooked. It's a great, entertaining blend of science fiction and fantasy starring a streetwise, one-eyed cat out to solve a murder mystery. I strongly recommend this book to any science fiction or mystery reader.
