Summary: oh yeah - this is a kick
Review: A classic. Right up there with "Moby Dick" and "Jazzy's Longfellow" (which was never published because of a cultural bias against books that can't be made into movies). Amazing that Venus on a Halfshell made it - of course Kilgore Trout is an excellent author and deserves the pulsserprize. If you like "Hitchhiker's you know what" (if you don't "know what" then skip this book and all others that don't appear in the best authors section of your local seveneleven)you will like Venus.
