Summary: High Suspense--High Writing
Review: I have been thrilled to find a book that is filled with suspense and written in a high-quality manner! Lawhon's journalism background, particularly as a medical reporter, provides her with the knowledge and experience needed to produce such a book. And the writing--it is good to read a book today that isn't laced throughout with graphic language, gratuitous sex, and horrific violence. The theme of the book, bioterrorism, is enough in and of itself to keep the reader glued to the text. The fact is, for a book to be truly suspenseful and scary, the reader must believe that the writer's thesis could truly happen. I believe Ms. Lawhon has given us just that kind of novel--a suspenseful story that I believe could truly happen! I highly recommend this book.
