Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Cultist Fuel
Review: I notice as I write this review that this book is going for $40 a pop. It's a very slim volume to command that price. There's a reason for that.

Going from the back of the book forward, there's information on strange places (Mu, Hyperborea, Kadath, R'Lyeh, etc) and the usual strange races (Mi-Go, ghouls, Deep Ones, etc). Before that is a beautiful description of various secret societies (Witch Cults, Starry Wisdom, Golden Dawn, etc) that can materially aid or hinder your players and their various agendas. And before that, comprising about half the book, is the masterwork: the description of occult and mythos tomes. Forbidden Lore, including editions in various languages, rules for translated works, all the old favorites and a variety of new books...

If your cults are getting stuffy, your enemies less ineffable and your forbidden lore merely warned-against, this book can provide your campaign a much-needed kick to the seat of the pants. Highly recommended.
