Rating: Summary: Lady Blade Lord Fighter Review: Great female lead with nice paralells to social issues contemporary independent women face. Good writing once you get used to the writer's style....the only problem is that the book ends at a new beginning. This book screams for a sequel but as far as I can tell there isn't one. This reader was left frustrated and searching for resolution.
Rating: Summary: one surprise after another Review: i've always enjoyed sharon green's books, and this has to be one of my favorites. i can certainly empathise with sofaltis, who has so much difficult making herself understood to well-meaning people in her life. the ending is a cliff-hanger, and many of us have been frustrated since finishing the book the first time. however, since i don't seem to be the only fan eagerly anticipating a sequel to this book, i thought that i'd share some info that i recently received, straight from the author herself. "Since you've kept your fingers crossed for so long, you might now try a few prayers. I've found someone who's willing to reprint Lady Blade - and also print the sequel, The Argent Swords, which is already written - but we're now waiting on the money person. If that person gets his money in the next couple of days, you can have Lady Blade and its sequel by the end of the year, next January at the latest. If not... I hate to even think about it. I've been trying so *long*...See if you can arrange a group prayer..." alright everyone, you heard the lady -- how much do we want to read the next chapter of this series? (this is a rhetorical question!)

Rating: Summary: Stopping Short Review: This was a good book, but it came up short by stopping just after it had started the story. It was like one of those TV shows you watch every week that is a hour show, and then the season finale builds up and up and then, at the half-hour break, says to be continued... Point is, I now want to read the next book in the series, but, as far as I can tell there is no next book. If anyone knows the title of the next in the series, I would be eternally gratefull if you could email me at tksparks@lycosmail.com. Thanks!
