Summary: Excellent book!
Review: This book is as addictive as the games are!! I just couldn't put it down! It is very believable and engrossing. You can REALLY identify with Ti'Ana and Telanis and the problems they go through.

Summary: The best book I've EVER read!
Review: This book is erfectly described by the back cover, which is written on this site, too. I read this early 2001, and it is my favorite book, and the best I've ever written. The scenery is described perfectly, and the characters never static. The dynamic flow of the book is sensational, and hear me out- I don't read much. If you don't like reading, don't know what Myst is or don't care, read the book anyway! It is nothing short of outstanding. And don't worry- it's only tied to the Myst series by one idea that gives the story shape. A book for anyone older than twelve or thirteen, or else youy won't get the whole plot. If you simply LOVED this book, you should try the sequal, because it is very good, though the two are not equally comparable. Myst: The Book of Ti'Ana is quite possibly one of the best books ever written in recent years and has been receiving far too small acclaim for what it truly deserves. Tell all your friends and family to read the book!

Summary: Intigue...
Review: This book was fantastic, the only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was basically because I felt that certain areas were overlooked and could have been embellished on...but that's just personal opinion. The story itself is amazing, with many different plot twists and the characters are wonderful. There are no "perfect" characters, but you love them for their flaws just the same. Aitrus, especially, his character has a great charm. Moving between different worlds in itself is enough to keep you reading, trying to decipher the ways of them both. Sometimes this book is very straight forward, and other times it is simply mindbending, but which ever it is, I found it to be a great ride. I am looking foward to reading more from Rand Miller. His style of writing really focuses on making the reader feel as though they are standing with the characters, and that in itself is a huge achievement. I recommend this book to anyone who is not afraid of unconventional wisdom.

Summary: A beautifully woven tapestry! A must read for all MYST fans!
Review: This is a wonder of a book! My mom is a big MYST fan. I was at first, but it slowly died away on me. But when Riven cam out, and I began to not want to leave the computer playing it with my mom, I decided I'd try The Book of Ti'Ana. Anyone who is a MYST fan must read this book. It is beautifully crafted together in a wonderful way, Rand Miller is a masterful writer and writes and intricatelly done, compelling story of friend vs. friend. Of truth and betrayal. If I gave away any of the plot, it wouldn't be fair, you'll just have to read it for yourself. So just, check it our(or buy it), sit back and prepare to emmerse yourself in a wonderful read!
