Summary: a non stop page turning
Review: The story begins after an earthquake strikes gotham city. Many of the population die and to repair this will cost millions of dollars. This place was diclare a no man's land. This story is very different to any book or comic written by DC comics. This story starts with the town full of criminals and crazy villans. This story shows the best of the great ditactive trying to put together a town that has no law what so ever. Even if the cops stay to protect the destroy town this was not enogh to put it together. I like this book because it shows the best of the batman. He trys to put his life together and at the same time the protect the town he always give his life to. All this happens thanks for the great mind of greg rucka that makes this story go alife.

Summary: Gotham's darkest hour
Review: This continues the storyline of the battle for the ruined Gotham. It's a well told tale.

Summary: The gripping conclusion
Review: This is a fitting conclusion to one of the best stories I've seen. Gotham destroyed in an earthquake, cut off from the rest of the world (no one in, no one out), fought over by various gangs, led by the police, super villains and the Batman himself. The series has been loaded with drama, suspense, action, great art--all in all you have to love it.

Summary: Gotham in ruins
Review: This is the second volume of the No Man's Land story, where Gotham lies in ruins, cut off from the outside world, battled over by gangs (including the police), and Batman and his team fight for the good of Gotham. It's a gripping storyline.

Summary: Exceptional from beginning to end
Review: When I made my list of the best books of 1999, I had no idea a comic series would be at the top. Without a doubt the No Man's Land saga was the most compelling read of the year. A tour de force story that encompassed human emotion, strength, and the will to survive. The reader is taken on a journey into the depths of human hell where only the strong will survive. The basic storyline is this: An earthquake of epic porportions destroys Gotham City (home of Batman) beyond repair. The federal government declares the city No Man's Land after refusing to provide federal aid. If you want to be surprised and shocked, pick up this book. Plus, if you like Batgirl, you will love this book. (Note: This is how the real Batgirl should be and not the character we see in those awful movies). The best read of the year!
