Rating: Summary: STRANGE CHANGE / KILLER NOVEL! Review: Alan of New York is daft. Not only is the cover of this strange novel awesome, and rich with symbolism, the story is, too. There's more psychology in this little novel than in ten psychology text books, and the narrative is fast-moving and stunningly vivid. There are three more novels by Nicholas Ifkovits that I have to get.
Rating: Summary: An excellent read . Review: Having just spent three days sitting in a bookstore hocking my own books, I felt compelled to speak to Nicholas Ifkovits when I saw him in the airport Borders in Las Vegas. I offered some words of encouragement and he told me a little about his books. I bought Strange Change and finished it on the plane ride back home to Tampa. I found his writing to be as full of passion as the man who wrote it. Strange Change is an excellent read with an ending you will never guess.
Rating: Summary: Ultra High-Quality Strange Change Is Non-stop Fun! Review: I really enjoyed Strange Change. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. It's not just a "good" book, it's a great book! Usually it takes me about two weeks to read a book, if I'm into it. I read Strange Change in two days. That is how much it grabbed my attention. I'm glad I took the time to go to www.abookshops.com and check Strange Change out. I'm going to tell everybody I know about this book. It was a pleasure to read and I enjoyed every bit of it. I would give it six stars, or seven or eight, but the most they let you give is five. This was a great find, and I look forward to reading other novels by this author.
Sincerely,
Maynard Lional Peralta
Rating: Summary: Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover. Review: The cover should have tipped me off on this one. It looks like someone did it on photoshop with little thought behind it. The book is the same way. It starts off with a boy using some magic power, given by God or the devil, who turns himself into a model in a Walmart ad. The girl turns out to be some child model on her way to being famous. The problem here is Walmart uses no pro models in their ads. All the people are family of employees. The rest of the book is just as bad with unrealistic dialog, characters acting in ways no rational human would and a timeline that makes the whole thing just stupid.
