The Dark Legacies Player's Guide is a d20 sourcebook for running a "gritty low-magic" game.

Fewer and fewer d20 products (settings especially) are striking a "wow, that's cool" nerve for me. This one does. I'm really drawn to the low (and corrupting) magic. Further, the setting seems to be almost a mix of fantasy and sci-fi, but not quite - and without introducing "mechs" or anything like that. Maybe gothic fantasy/horror is more like it. Anyway, I intend to implement some of this stuff in my game - I suggest you also check it out.
