Summary: Car Wars General Review
Review: I had originally played this Steve Jackson game in the early eighties, and remember enjoying the action and concept at the time.

After hearing of the new version of Car Wars, which was published recently, I had to have it.

The system is very straight forward, and is easily setup for two people to begin playing. Most rules are easy to understand and follow, but some of the collision rules were difficult to understand the first or second time through.

This version of Car Wars uses a "turning key" that enables your vehicle to turn and move the requisite distance, measured in inches.

The movement is broken into three phases per turn, and after playing two or three turns versus a friend, we were both able to understand the rules much better. After several games, the rule book is used less and less as you begin to remember the information.

Overall, this is a very enjoyable game that can be played with two or more players for hours on end.
