Rating: Summary: Better than American Idol, this is the REAL THING! Review: Forget American Idol. Just turn that horrible nonsense off (just turn off the TV, why you're at it), get your butt over to Walden Books, buy THIS BOOK, and LOVE IT! Because this is way more interesting and fun than that. I have read this book and I must say: Yasue Imai's artwork is very wonderfully done and the story is very nicely translated into English. the characters such as Airi and her other friends are really kawaii (cute, for those who don't know Japanese)! Wow, very good! I hope as this series moves on, Airi will be with the man of her dreams, Issa-kun. For those who think that American Idol is so cool, you would do yourself a favor and pick up this book and give it a really good read. You may just change your mind about that American Idol nonsense. And hey, you don't even got to worry about that disgrace of a guy Simon when you're reading it! This definitely beats American Idol by far! So, what are just sitting around watching that TV for? Waiting for the next lame episode of American Idol. Oh no. No you don't. Get up and go find this book. Buy it and love it! See ya!
Rating: Summary: couldn't stop reading Review: it was very well writen and had many great moments if you like books with not alot of violence this is the one for u .
Rating: Summary: couldn't stop reading Review: The books starts out with Airi who watches a American-Idol like TV show called Boom Boom. She hears about an audition to go to the Actor's School and appear on the show. She makes it and finds the hardships of learning to become Japan's next big thing with the help of her gargoyle-like statue guardian and friends. This manga is really awesome with Airi saying she'll do whatever it takes to be a pro singer.
Rating: Summary: THIS GRAPHIC NOVEL IT GREAT! Review: When I first saw this book, I didn't think it'd be that good.... the cover didn't have the same style manga I like to read, but, because I had some money to spend, I just grabbed it & ran after my mom to the checkout. Even after I got it, I didn't read it for several days....I was too busy, but when I finally opened it up, I could NOT stop reading! The story really captured a young girl's feelings...what it was like to have a crush on a celeb.. what it's like to have your parents "un-understand" about things..... The story line seemed a little over-used when I read the back of the book, but it's very exciting & unique! I really think, if you like manga, that you should read it! I already ordered volume 2!
