Rating: Summary: AMAZING Review: #3 was just as great as I hoped! I've read a lot of books but none of them have ever caught my intrest like The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches. I used to think harry potter was the best book ever, then, I read this, now I'm dieing for more. The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches is by far one of the best series I've read. The plot and setting are unlike any other book out there, and the characters are quite interesting, especially Vilmos, Seth, Valam, Adrina, Emel, Xith and Myrial. My eyes were glued to the paper, and I could hardly stop reading. I higly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy.
Rating: Summary: Only book better in whole world is #4 Review: I give this book 5 stars straight up. In my opinion the best one of the first three books. It has a really crazy twist in the end and if your thinking about getting this book and not sure trust me get it and if you don't like it then u must have no imagination. The whole Kingdoms & Elves series certainly hooks you from book one. I have read each book 4 times and I can never get enough! I love how we are introduced to new characters, very interesting! I love how Adrina remembers her past and gets over it. Kudos Robert Stanek!
Rating: Summary: Best KE book yet! Review: I loved the Kingdoms and Elves #3! The new characters add sooooo much to the story! Myrial and Edward will forever be some of my favorites. I would recommend this book to almost anyone who likes exciting books and adventure books.
Rating: Summary: Great the best wonderful Review: I would first like to say that the Kingdoms and Elves of the Reaches books are not just for kids. I absolutely love all four of the books and have read them each several times. I cannot wait for the next books to come out. The characters and the action within the books are so attention grabbing and thought out that I am amazed. I'm totally hooked on Kingdoms and Elves of the Reaches! The books are fairly short as fantasy novels go, but pack an immense punch. In no other series have the characters occupied my mind and excited my imagination to such a degree. I stayed up to three in the morning to finish it. I thank Robert Stanek for writing this imaginative series. I'm eagerly awaiting the 5th book and so is the rest of my family.
Rating: Summary: Stanek gets better and better Review: I've read Mr. Stanek's Keeper Martin's Tale and Elf Queen's Quest. I happened upon this book (which I know is YA) and bought it because it looked to continue where Keeper Martin's Tale left off. The good news is that it does, meaning fans of Kingdoms and Elves of the Reaches and Keeper Martin's Tale can enjoy this book. (Note of caution the adult edition of this book will be out in March 2003 as Kingdom Alliance but I just couldn't wait).WHAT'S SO GREAT? Mr. Stanek's world which we just started to see in the early books is truly blossoming in this book. Visits to under earth are breath taking. The dark elves are fascinating. Edward the troant is hillarious. I loved King's Mate. I loved learning about the gates and orbs. I loved meeting myrial. She's the newest and greatest character. RECOMMENDED? Yes, this is the best, most fun series I've ever read and that says a lot.
Rating: Summary: The BEST Review: If you are thinking about reading a new series but are hesitant for one reason or another, let this be the review that gets you started reading these books. In the "Keeper Martin's Tales" cycle, Stanek creates a magnificent world and characters. The first book, The Kingdoms and the Elves 1, puts the story in motion, introducing a unique world, unique characters and an even better storyline. We follow Adrina as she pieces together the mysterious happenings in the kingdom, Vilmos as he discovers who he really is, and Galan and Seth as they set out to explore their world. The second book, "The Kingdoms and the Elves 2," continues the momentum of the story, taking you into the heart of the battle to save Great Kingdom and the elves. The third book, "The Kingdoms and the Elves 3," digs deep into the characters lives, giving us new friends to enjoy and love and great new adventures. Here we discover Edward, Myrial, Under Earth and King's Mate. The fourth book, "The Kingdoms and the Elves 4," soars through the realms, giving us spectacular stories of the Ever Tree, the Mouth of the World, the Trios, and the Dragon King. Keeper Martin's Tales is series for all ages, and is some of the best innovative fantasy fiction. It rivals the best Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and all the others have to offer. What a delight!
Rating: Summary: If you don't read Kingdoms and elves, you should!!! Review: In Robert Stanek's third part of the smash-hit Kingdoms and elves series, Adrina discovers her heart, Emel is out for blood, Vilmos gets his powers to the next level. This spell-binding adventure takes your imagination for a spin that you wont soon forget. I highly reccomend this book to young and old alike. I give it five stars - it's one of the greatest series of all time. I would recommend the Kingdoms and elves series to anyone and everyone. I know people from age 8 to 92 who have enjoyed these books and I am yet to come upon a person who hasn't loved these books. I can't really describe what makes them so great except that they have something a lot of others great pieces of literature do not. By the way, you must read the first two books in the series to fully understand this book.
