Review: When I first started reading Avatar I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the characters became "real". Every time I knew just where the story was going, I was surprised by a new turn. The book was everything I had expected from sci-fi and yet very different. I went from happy to sad, angry to the edge of my seat. So often when I read a book the story is wonderful but the end makes me wonder why I gave it my precious time. I couldn't come up with a single ending that would pull it all together but Donald W. Phipp Jr. did. Right up to the very end Virge, Aurelia and Corey stayed true to form. I am looking forward to the next book.
