Summary: Women really do rule!
Review: I picked up the novel because of the first sentence 'A man didn't make the world you live in today a woman did'. I fell in love with it because of the story. Not only does the author make use of the Latin language but she manages to weave the religions and the languages together in a believable fashion.

Her use of the word 'trinity' through out the book...the three women of the prophesy, the three sides of the main character, the three tests that Oni goes through before she can stay with Gao, the three evils...she reiterates the trinity pricipal to the fullest. Characters come to life on the pages and they all come from different backgrounds.

People around the world come together...most of the time...in her story. They're real. The way she goes into their minds gave me a greater look at men in general and made me look inside myself. I mean it's a tale of a bewitching woman casting a thousand-year spell to exact her revenge, her prophecy to save her husband that is always on the prowl, and an unlikely pair joining to fight the ultimante evil--only to find themselves in their own battle of hearts. It's Tolkien for the females. It's one of those stories that I'll always remember.

Summary: Taken away
Review: In reading World Watcher, flipping through its pages filled with magic and intrigue my response to this book can only be this... it is more than just that. When I first dove into its pages the magic in the book seemed not only to enchant its characters but this reader who had dared to open its pages. I continued to bathe myself in the reading always looking for new challenges trying to loose myself in the currents of the story. But, in my search I was never disappointed. World Watcher would not let me go and in my lust for its pages I would not put it down. I could not. Not long after the inevitable eventually occurred and I found myself and the end of pages I hoped would not. I can only imagine with this author's talent and creativity what masterpieces she will create in the future.
