Summary: Great, but...
Review: That's the question, do you really want to intoxicate your vision of the World of Darkness with this fearsome work of art?. The Dirty Secrets should be the Filthy Secrets.... or worse.... within these pages lies the revelations that will make your chornicles burn with mistery and horror, do you want your vampire troupe running and screaming, then welcome!. The black hand is the book that every storyteller should have, or at least fear..... Congratulations White Wolf!!!, now I see reality in his true form, darker than ever....

Summary: Great, but...
Review: The book gives brand news informations about the True Black Hand, things that all good storyteller should know to make his chronicles even better. The concept of the sect in itself and his hiearchy are really great and it's a real pleasure to add it to current plots. However, as with some other supplements, White Wolf made really, really stupid mistakes; create new clans with non-vampiric disciplines that makes you cry or laugh, but not include them... A great book, but as always, the storyteller will have to take the best and let some stuff down.

Summary: Don't read unless you are going to play a Black Hand.
Review: The discipline of Temporis is interesting, if difficult to use in a real campaign, and the idea of the True Brujah is okay. The "Old Clan", hinted at in Libellus Sanguinus and the Tzimisce clanbook, is finally outlinedm, the tie-in with wraith is fairly well done, and the attempts at explaining the Black Hand is admirable. Unfortunately, this book could have been better. Again, it's only worth your time if you character should know more than the rest of the party, and you want to look smart in game. Some storyteller games could benifit from this information, but most won't need it. A good buy for background info or antagonists.

Summary: An interesting twist to a twisted world
Review: The Sabbat actually works to protect humanity? Sabbat paths that restrict frenzy and condone clear thought and logic? A great addition to the White Wolf family. The True Brujah, previously a myth in white wolf history, add an element of tragedy to the White Wolf scene previously exhibitied by the Salubri and perhaps the Cappadocians. The tie-ins to other WoD games is unique, logical and interesting. I give this book an A+ :)

Summary: Wait... you mean... no... WHAT?
Review: Well, apparently, this is just one of those books White Wolf puts out every so often to just piss StoryTellers off. Not only does it completely change the feel of the WoD and the Sabbat, it also tries (Not very well) to tie in to Wraith : the Oblivion. HOW many 'True Black Hand's are there going to be? And what the hell was the writer THINKING when he gave Vampires the True Magick Sphere of Time as a Discipline? The idea of the True Brujah was an interesting one, but... TEMPORIS? And WHAT is this about Vampires living in the Shadowlands? Sounds like White Wolf took all the insane ideas, and threw them into one big book of madness. It's a great book to pick and choose from, but whatever you do, don't take it as complete gospel. You'll just ruin your games.

Summary: RE: Just something for everyone to remember
Review: White Wolf has not amended this book as the previous reviewer describes. The cult fell shortly after the Week of Nightmares. Further, the True Brujah turn up again in Ghenna (obviously, they do exist), and the Old Clan Tzimisce still exist as well. As for the "Alien Disease", it was picked up by a 4th gen in the far umbra, at which point it began to infect the clan, including the antedluvian. One can assume, however, that the "soul eater" is in reality Tzimisce trying to take over the new host body. Do yourself the favor of reading the book cover to cover before deciding to buy it.
