Rating: Summary: The Emergance of Semantics in Four LInguistic Traditions etc Review: For a lot of people, these languages have been kept in the dark, due to lack of acessability, particularly in the modern western world. Of course this is most obvious in relevance to Sanskrit, which is now more or less seen as a mystical language of anceint India. This fascinating book takes a deeper look into the linguistics of these languages which are reputed for their poetical grace and structure. However the complexity of the language used in the book makes it perphaps a little inaccesable for some audiences. All in all a good informative and critical read.
