Rating: Summary: Menitheos is a Metaphor Review: The young protagonist, whose name banners the title in Jerry J. Rempp's "Menitheos, the Skeptical Saviour," offers the reader a beautiful metaphor of life. This quantum physics genre presents a slice of life to ponder. Menitheos personifies our struggles, loves, and conflicts life presents to us all. While we all struggle with our own lives; our own handicaps (real of imagined); with our own desires of immortality to provide something of worth we can leave behind after we are gone; and how we deal with conflict, love, and family; each aspect is presented nearly mystically in this beautiful offering. The author gently leads his reader by the hand as this life's metaphor is laid before us to identify and digest. While the story of Menitheos solidly stands on its own, it is very easy for the reader to identify with Menitheos, while at the same time providing an introspective to the reader's inner self. And after all, isn't that what life is about? The characters are likeable, proving easy to identify with them. I found the book moving with enough conflict to make "Menthious the Skeptical Saviour" a beautiful, well written statement of life regardless the century or circumstances in which we find ourselves. For an introspective of life, this metaphoric offering is platinum.
