Summary: Great beginning!
Review: I'm a big fan of books in this genre. I'm really happy that I picked up this book and would reccomend it to anyone who likes fantasy. It's the first in a very promising trilogy, and I really can't wait to read the next one. The characters are extremely well explored, I feel as if I know them personally and am truly interested in seeing them develop. I like the way the world is set up, with its own set of rules that the author sticks to (which we all know isn't as easy as it looks). I'm itching to see what happens to Markest after the suspense filled ending of the first book and I hope Holochwost gets the next one out quickly.

Review: I'm happy that I picked up this book and would recommend to everyone! It's worth the money! I am so deep into it, and I really can't wait to read the next one novel! It's like, when you pick up this book and start reading, you won't be able to put this book down till you finish! The main characters are just amazing! (I can't wait to see what's going to happen to Markest in next novel of his) I like the way the author set up the scenes... and just amazing book! I can't wait for the next one.. when does it get to be published?

Summary: The truth about first time authors
Review: The book starts off really good, assassination and a really cool evil character make for a nice start. The main character starts out a bit wet behind the ears, but he gets going pretty soon, and then he rocks. There is some really unique magic in the book, and some great battle scenes. Overall the writing is strong, with only some weak moments. I guess a first timer can't get everything right, but I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series. What an ending!
