Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A Real Thriller Review: Despite its metaphysical bent, this is a real thriller and can be read strictly for the thrill, which it delivers. Information about Kabbalah is woven so effortlessly into the fabric of the thriller that you get a good ride, a good read, and a little education, too! There's some interesting reinterpretation of the Book of Revelations here, as well.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A terrific read! Review: Don't let the thought of a book involving the Kabbalah intimidate you or turn you away. This is a fast-moving, entertaining novel sprinkled with humor. Don't start it late at night unless you don't have to go to work the next day because once you get into it, you'll read to the end.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A winner Review: Former wire service and newspaper reporter Ken Clark has written one whale of an adventure tale. After reading brain-dulling formulaic work by Tom Clancy and the like, Clark's "Omega Rising" comes as a welcome relief. Clark, who has made an avocation of studying the world's more arcane religions, has taken a heart-pounding adventure tale and mixed in enough metaphysics to produce a unique blend that should satisfy even the most discriminating seekers of the unusual. Moreover, Clark's tale is replete with reporter humor and the kind of verisimilitude that proves he knows his way around a newsroom.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: ALL IT NEEDS IS A SCREEN WRITER Review: I read 320 pages in three sittings, quitting each time only because my eyes gave out on me. This is action-packed adventure with a mystery twist that will hold you in a page-by-page grip. Hated to have it "end," but perhaps it really hasn't. Perhaps it's just a beginning. Mr. Clark knows how to elicit an "I want more" reaction from a reader, and I want more - at the very least - in the form of a motion picture. "Omega Rising" has the perfect combination of subject/characters/ plots for the screen. Spread the word!

Rating: ![0 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-0-0.gif) Summary: Who says a book can't teach and entertain at the same time? Review: It's been said that a book can teach, or a book can entertain, but it can't do both. Against all odds, I have tried to do both here. My initial purpose was to explain, in a language everyone can understand, the more esoteric principles and powerful potential of the ancient Jewish metaphysical system of Kabbalah. It is a system so arcane that until recent years only a handful of Talmudic scholars really have been able to understdand its mechanics, but thanks to new methods of teaching and a general elevation of the human consciousness, those precepts now are available to all who seek them, regardless of cultural background or religious persuasion. I hope that by placing them in a fictional framework of action adventure, I have been able to clarify them, fire the imagination and, at the same time, inspire a desire to learn more about a worldview that is anything but fictional. Whether I have succeeded or failed in this endeavor will be decided by my readers.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Star is Born Review: The only logical next step for this marvelous metaphysical thriller is Hollywood. This is action/adventure at its best, with a new twist--a Kabbalist as protagonist--that simply never before has been put on the big screen. Hey there, movie producers and directors, are you listening? "Omega Rising" could be Harrison Ford's next vehicle.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Exciting Adventure Review: This is one of those books you hate to put down! I didn't know anything about Kabbalah and felt a bit intimidated at first. Then the adventure took me and I just enjoyed the tale and the characters. It was exciting, full of incredible action, and humorous. Indeed this book does teach and entertain at the same time.
