Review: Paula King (aka Paula E. Downing, P.K. McAllister) seems to be relatively unknown -- not sure why that is. She is excellent at character development, character dynamics and tells a great story. If you like this book, I recommend trying out "Fallway" or "A Whisper of Time". (BTW, if you would prefer to buy used, an older edition is published under another ISBN.)
