Summary: GREAT!
Review: i read all the books of Mary Brown. unfortunately the only book i liked was this one. the other books had too many parts about men and women... this book was perfect. it showed feeling and helps everyone feel how Prettiance feels. the book dose seem to end without and ending but i like it. it is my favorite book. Strange Deliverance rules!!!!!

Summary: Okay for a slow night when you have nothing better to read.
Review: I started the Mary Brown series about two weeks ago. I enjoyed Pigs Don't Fly and Master of Many Treasures quite abit, back tracked to the first book, The Unlikely Ones and then filled in with Dragon's Eg and Strange Deliverance. Brown has a light and enjoyable style, non-demanding, and some good characters in most of the books. But Strange Deliverance irritated me. I could not figure out where the story was going nor did I enjoy the trip particularly. I thought the ending was very weak, the crises rather patly solved (especially the ultimate confrontation with the Mayor) and the herione very irritating. By far the weakest of Brown's books, stick to The Unlikely Ones, Pigs Don't Fly and Masters of Many Treasures for the best of them and maybe Dragonne's Eg for a quick wrap-up. I was disappointed by Strange Deliverance.
