Summary: The most gripping and suspenseful so far!
Review: Just before I started reading these books, I had recomitted myself to the Lord Jesus Christ. After reading these books, it became even more clear to me how serious this really was, even though I knew it before, and my faith has grown stronger every day with the knowledge I have obtained in these books together with the knowledge I have been receiving from my Bible. This book by far was, I feel, the most suspenseful and gripping book that I have read yet in the series. My heart was pounding during the escape scenes, and I wept and mourned with the Tribulation Force when a member of theirs was struck down in the name of their cause. It is truly an eye opener for me and I hope that these books can reach farther than just those who already know God, and that somehow it will touch other peoples lives as well as it has touched my own. I highly recommend these series of books. One day this will happen. Even though these are fictional books, they are biblically based and people should take that into consideration and be rethinking a lot about their own lives, and whether or not they want to be left behind to deal with the atrocities as prophesized in the Bible. Nobody wishes this upon anyone and God is giving everyone so many chances to come to him, through all the blessings that he shows us everyday, that when the time comes and he is forced to take the drastic measures as outlined in the book of Revelations, it is only to get your attention and to hopefully bring you closer to Him and realize that He is the way, the truth and the light! God bless!

Summary: Action Packed!
Review: Apollyon was packed with action and suspense! I love the fact that Rayford--despite the prospect of learning that his wife Amanda might have deceived him--was willing to search to find out the truth about her, good or bad. It shows his strength of character.

The Tribulation Force members are weary and battered from the earthquake, and the chaos around them. But they continue to rise above their circumstances. Driven to make Christ known in the world, staying alive, and bringing believers from around the world together for the great gathering at the stadium. But as always--there is the risk of being caught by the GC or being tricked by Carpathia.

I loved the way Jenkins and LaHaye treated the great gathering of believers at Teddy Kollek Stadium in Jerusalem. I could hear the roar of the crowd and feel the excitement! And the way God worked when Nicolae arrived on the scene--wonderful! Tears filled my eyes when familiar characters gave themselves to Christ--I won't give away who they are... And the two witnesses continue to be enthralling. The characters go through a gamut of emotions from fear to exualtation. If you read all the books, you're sure to be drawn into their lives, feeling their pain and rejoicing with them.

This book takes you on a thrill ride! If you want to know what the future holds... read it! LaHaye and Jenkins bring Revelations to life, making it easy to understand and visualize. If you don't believe the truths of the Bible and the rapture occurs--you've been for-warned. But the Lord is merciful and quick to save those who humble themselves... you don't have to be "left behind!"

Summary: packed with suspense
Review: in the fifth installment of the left behind series, we learn new things about our friends (the characters that have captured our attentions, ones we find ourselves rooting for), are reassured that they are indeed still human, and are introduced to a wider array of characters including the scorpion-like locusts.

from the first page to the last, something is *always* going on. the tribulation force simply cant stop for a moment to catch its breath without something else happening, whether its being pursued by the global community, trying to make it home to the safe house in one piece or attempting to spread their message to as many people that will listen, all while having to dodge the signs from god....this is serious edge of your seat reading!

the fact that a few in the force were wrong in their feelings about amanda's true intentions (as well as most of us readers im sure >>wink<<), mixed with the feelings of rayford as well as chloe of wanting to be the one that takes nicolae out and adding in tsion ben judahs feelings of loneliness, i found myself reminded about how human they are. just because they are working for the "right side" doesnt mean that they are always right in their feelings, doesnt mean that they arent able to hate and doesnt mean that when surrounded by people that want to be close to you, you feel comfort in that.

finding new believers, finding out that some arent who they say and tying to help those that are so close to the "truth" has the reader pulling for them. i cant wait to get into the next book! ::smile

Summary: 5 Thumbs Up
Review: Knawing, Wailing, and Praising. These three words describe the whole book. Set on the book Revelation, Appollyon takes place after the 7-year peace treaty is sign. This book contain a visual-like words of the demonic locust, and tghe terror that ran through the street. By far the most compelling and dramatic book of the series.

Summary: The best LEFT BEHIND book yet
Review: I found Apollyon to be the best of the first five books in the series. The events in this book keep you in suspence the whole time, and help illustrate the horrors of the tribulation. Apollyon is easy to follow and easy to read. I would recomend it to anyone who likes a little suspence in their reading

Summary: Don't wait till it's too late!
Review: I have read each book in the "Left Behind" series. I am an avid believer in the Bible and that it is the inspired word of God. I have come to believe that the "Left Behind" series, (though it's characters are fictional, it's foundation is Biblical,) is an "INSPIRED" writting. I would highly recommend this series to anyone, believer or not, who is in search of the truth about how things are to be in the end times. If, like myself you have ever read the book of Revelations but did not understand it, this series will bring what you have read to light. If you read this series with an open mind and a searching heart, it will inspire you too...

Summary: Best Installment Of The 7!
Review: Don't listen to the bad comments about what anyone says about this book. If you like what I like in a book: action, suspense, a great story, then you will fall in love with "Apollyon: The destroyer is unleashed" This is the best book of the installment so far. It kept me on the edge of my seat with suspense. You will be very pleased. VERY!

Summary: Wake Up People
Review: For those who keep putting these books down you need to wake up. Calling these books scare tactics or cult provoking is just another way of saying your a nonbeliever. So other people have written other books about this subject and may be better in your eyes. But aren't they really saying the same thing. You need to start opening your heart and soul to Christ. These books have made me really look at myself and my relationship with Christ. I think you people need to stop berating the books and look at the true meaning of what they are trying to say.

Summary: Apollyon
Review: I haven't been able to put it down. Ever since I read the first one I have been engrossed with these books. I've even got my son interested in them and bought him the Kids version of Left Behind. He likes them alot. Can't wait for the next one.

Summary: Lots of action!
Review: Some gaps and a few bobbles but this book is an exhiliarating read. Have you ever wondered why you were born in this particular age? To see the event that has been the sole purpose of Creation? These are extraordinary times and Lahaye and Jenkins capture the essence of the end times as well as any author yet on the scene. Also recommend you read the Last Day by Glenn Kleier and Transfer by Jerry Furland. I understand that volume seven is coming in July. I can't wait.
