Rating: Summary: WAIT FOR THE PAPERBACK Review: As a huge fan of Tim and Jerry, I am slightly disappointed in the latest book in the Left Behind Series. As a writer, I can only say, this is the type of book you get when you try and write two books a year. Left Behind, Tribulation force and Nicolae were all excellent, with Left Behind as the MOST captivating. However, it seems by book 4, there is much repetition and not all that much excitement. I couldn't wait to read each book, but after this one, I'll wait for the paperback. Both men are excellent researchers and writers, but one has to wonder if the "literary machine" has taken over and profit is now more important than quality. Don't get me wrong, this message is timely and certainly I want the world to know what we Christians already know. However, the writing is becoming stiff and unimaginary - of course, anyone who attempts to write and publish two books a year is taking on a task which either will fail, or in this case, will succeed but will put quality writing in second place. I'D GLADLY WAIT A YEAR if I could read another "left behind" quality type of book
Rating: Summary: Excellent!!! Jenkins and Lahaye have done it again!!! Review: This book is the 5th in the series and takes up where book 4 left off. If you're just jumping in to the series don't expect reviews of the previous books in this one. All things considered it is an excellent continuation! Fast paced, seat of the pants escapes and the rise of Tsion Ben-Judah as the spiritual leader of the Planet! I can hardly wait for the next one!!!
Rating: Summary: A Great followup to sluggish Soul Harvest Review: This is a truly awesome, inspiring book, action-packed, and with a great ending. It really makes you evaluate yourself. A great rebound from Soul Harvest, a slower, less upbeat book. I would recommend this book to all ages (even teenagers- i am one). But please read the others first.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! The best yet. Review: If you liked the other books in this series - you will love this book!Absolutely wonderful reading. Every book has had me captivated. What will I do till August when Assassins is due out?
Rating: Summary: AM WAITING FOR THE NEXT IN THE SERIES TO APPEAR. Review: I HAVE READ ALL THE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES SO FAR AND AM WAITING FOR THE NEXT IN LINE TO APPEAR. I PRAY THAT THESE BOOKS INDUCE PEOPLE TO OPEN THEIR BIBLES TO REVELATION AND READ FOR THEMSELVES. IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY A BELIEVER THESE OUGHT TO MAKE ONE OF YOU. I AM PASSING EACH ALONG TO MY UNBELIEVING DAUGHTER ONE AT A TIME AND PRAYING FOR SALVATION. WHILE ONE SHOULDN'T COME TO CHRIST OUT OF FEAR BUT DRAWN BY HIS LOVE SOME PEOPLE SOMETIMES NEED A LITTLE PUSH IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. I'D RATHER THE WORLD BE READING THIS EVEN IF IT IS SO THEY CAN CRITIZE AND SNEER. AT LEAST A SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED.
Rating: Summary: Riveting Review: Another excellent book in the series. My only complaint is fatigue. I haven't got any sleep since I bought this book - I stay up all night trying to find out what happens on the next page!
Rating: Summary: intense, page turning, ending a little dissapointing, Review: Apollyon is a great book. I enjoyed the story line and the author's keep me turning the pages. There never seems to be a dull moment in the book. I like how the author's give you a short review on the last book and then take you into this book. This way you are in step with the last book and pick up where you left off. The only let down was the end in my opinion. Each of the other books left you hanging and you couldn't wait until the next book. This book just doesn't have the suspense at the end. I'm still waiting for the next book and will pick it up as soon as it is available.
Rating: Summary: A fast moving, perfect addition to a great series! Review: I thought this was the best of the Left Behind series. It was fast-paced, exciting and enlightening. Some previous readers have commented on the ludicrous idea that Buck and Chloe should have a child. Many young people today want to know the joys of parenting and marriage before the return of Christ. LaHaye and Jenkins give us a wonderful joy in a terrible time. So instead of calling it stupid and telling them to "take out the kid", maybe you should grow up. The plot with Chaim is a little slow, he could surely come to his senses by now. Great job continuing a wonderful series.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: This book, like the 4 previous is so totally AWESOME, I can't wait untill August when The Assasins is released. I just hope that it to is released early.
Rating: Summary: A gripping, yet biblically-sound take on what is to come Review: This is my favorite since I read the first in the series, "Left Behind". While I don't know how much of what they write will actually take place (as many think a lot of revelation is not quite as literal as Jenkins and LaHaye are writing, but then again none of us know). I do hope that this series will be made into a movie. If so, I think you will be seeing thousands pray to receive Christ in the theaters!!!!!
