Summary: astronomical!
Review: These two gentlemen are genius' WOW! What an inspiration. They just take me away, more so than your average horror or romance novel. I'm looking forward to the next book, I beleive is titled, "The Assassin". In fact, I've been passing the books along to family and co-workers. Needless to say, we're all sitting on the edge of our seats, anticipating the next book. I hate for the story to end. These books are so real-like and so biblical, I'm half expecting to see Buck, Chloe, and the rest of the Trib force in Heaven. Please! Please! Please get that next book out!!! Hats off to the authors, Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins.

Summary: The "Left Behind" Series gets better with each book!!
Review: When you read this book you feel like you know the characters in real life. The descriptions the authors give of things that we haven't even thought about are awesome. I felt like I was there with them trying to run to catch an already moving aircraft. This book is packed with action. Once you pick it up you can't put it down. I read this book in 9 hrs. It is definately a MUST READ!!!!

Summary: Poor writing
Review: I am curious about the many people who have suggested giving this series of books to non-Christians in the hopes that they will convert. Would you discard YOUR beliefs if I wrote a thriller about how, in the future, you will suffer because of them? I suspect not. The rapture is only scary to those of us who know it will happen. Give non-Christians some credit; they aren't going to be swayed by a fictional account of an event they do not believe will ever occur.

Moreover, I suspect these books would do more harm than good. The type of "Christian writing" that these books represent is so universally awful that it cannot but reflect badly on Christianity, unfortunately. If I wished to make a non-Christian think about Christianity, I would give him a book that actually contained some thought and maybe some decent writing as well : "The Moviegoer" by Walker Percy would be a natural starting place.

However, if I were a non-believer and wished to perpetuate some unfortunate (and unfortunately often true) stereotypes about Christians -- namely, that we are unintellectual, incapable of skepticism or moral ambiquity, and self-righteous -- then I would be sure to pass these books around. They embody all that is bad and corrupt in our faith.

I urge everyone to look for more than a fast paced plot and a cut-and-dried moral situation in a book. Our faith is so beautiful, so wonderful, so complex, so mysterious, so full God's power and His glory that it is distasteful to me and many Christians that it must be popularly represented by drivel such as this.

Summary: This book is awesome and i cant wait for the next one
Review: Ive read a lot about how people said that this book was the slowest adn worst one of them all. i think that this book is so cool man and it is so neat how the witnesses burn people up baby. i cant wait until nicolae gets killed for good and all this is over for our heros. i would suggest it to anybody especially those who would never hear the word otherwise.

Summary: Probably the best in the series so far
Review: Having read all 5 the books in this series, this is my favorite. The description of the scorpion- like demonic creatures is very good and goes in line with the Scriptures. I find the book sticks closely to Scripture and is very reader friendly! The character development is very good and the action moves quickly. I can't wait for the others to come out!

Review: - This really is literature for lunatics

Summary: Excellent - best of five in series! Keep 'em coming!
Review: Mr. LaHaye and Mr.Jenkins, unbelievable what an impact this book is making! In my office of 3 years, I'm hearing people who I did not know were believers in Christ, actually talking about these books, and opening up dialogue. And I tell you, the excitement is only a praise to our God and King! Keep them books acoming! Sorry but I've got all my books loaned out - I know this hurts your sales but praise God!

Summary: captivating subject matter
Review: One reviewer from N.Y. said "a bit too much of a religious angle." I don't see these books as literary genius but the subject matter is captivating. I do believe this is the intent of the authors. If these books cause people to be curious about Jesus and how one receives eternal life thru GRACE by FAITH in Christ as the son of God the authors have done their job. I've read all five books and have found some better written than others, however, it's the quality of the message that excites me. The Bible warns us to be ready for death and the unseen realm. There is such place and when reached there is so much ato be revealed and experienced! I AM READY FOR THE JOY OF MEETING MY HOLY FATHER AND HIS SON MY SAVIOR. My Prayer list grows and grows. Would love to share with anyone who is interested.

Summary: Kids are part of real life
Review: This is directed toward whoever wrote in about Buck and Chloe "canning the kid and getting on with real life." Well, having a kid IS a part of real life! Most people, since the beginning of time, have wanted to have a kid. So why shouldn't Buck and Chloe? Having a kid IS a NORMAL part of life. So keep writing, Jerry and Tim!! You are doing an excellent job; keep up the good work!
