Rating: Summary: Left Behind, a "PAGE TURNING EXTRAVEGANZA!!" Review: I've never been much of a reader, but this series has changed that. My Dad sent me Left Behind around Thanksgiving time and by New Years day I had devoured the first four books and was left thirsting for the fifth. I know this is fiction, but this series paints a very real picture of what I beleive to be very true. About the next book, hey Jerry, I live in Beach Park, I am a more than willing test reader. It's not at all that I am dying to know what happens next, I am just trying to be helpful. By the way, my Dad used to work with you at MBI.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful!!!! Review: I love these books! The tale is so truthful, and so awesome, it makes many pick up a Bible, and read. Whether they follow along or make sure something is absolutely truly from the Bible, many are finding the wonderful love of Jesus Christ. I yearn so badly for Hattie Durham and Chaim Rosenzweig. We should realize that this is not only a Tribulation situation. Many know God exists, and yet they absolutely refuse to believe he could forgive them for anything they have ever done! Read about the crucifixion if you have doubts. The Bible says that a thief, a horrible criminal who had done terrible things was saved while hanging on the cross!!!! These books really bring out the Biblical truth that so many need to know. I have already read accounts from people who were saved by it. God has worked wonders through these two bright men, and I must say thanks and keep up the great work. By the way, I don't guess you could release the new books any sooner than August or September, hm?
Rating: Summary: Apollyon is a great continuation of the Left Behind series. Review: The Left Behind series is intriguing and a page turner. Apollyon continues the saga and leaves the reader hanging, once again, in anticiaption for the next novel. I recommend the series from start to finish.
Rating: Summary: Apollyon was exciting with many different twists. Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It made me refer to Revelations many times. When I was done I read again to see what will happen next. I share my books with believers at work. They too, feel it is Biblically based. I will pray for those that rated them with one star. Satan is at work there. Especially the person who compared these books with the works of Stephen King. These books are not to be put above the Bible but they are not garbage. Hats off to Lahaye and Jenkins. I pray for you both to convey God's message through your story.
Rating: Summary: great book!! Review: I could hardly wait for this book and it read really fast! I have studied the bible and this series does a very good job of bringing the sometimes confusing Book of Revelation to light......the authors have been able to communicate Revelation to those people who either don't believe in it or have been confused by it in the past. Good work guys!
Rating: Summary: It Has Changed My Life Review: These books have becme an ongoing soap opera for me and my friends. Once I got turned on to it I could put them down. I discuss the charecters like it were a TV shown wondering what will happen next. It revived my love for good books and I am anxiously waiting Assasins, the next book due out in August. Tim Lahaye and Jery Jenkins, thank you and dont stop now.
Rating: Summary: The best yet!!!!! Review: This book the best I've ever read.In fact, it made me poopoo in my pants
Rating: Summary: Not Just Another End Times Book For Christians. Review: Whether you believe is Christ, Mohammad, or UFOs, this is a well thought out, researched, and imaginative book. Not every Christian will agree with every premise in this book, but that's not unusual. The characters, plot development, and mystery unfolds as you turn the pages faster and faster. By comparison, Brad Steiger's exceptional new book Alien Rapture is the alter-alternative to the Christian Rapture with a great sinister government woven in. Being a student of theology, I have read both books numerious times. I loan them out as a pair.
Rating: Summary: The best, not a let down, im anxiously awaiting the next Review: I just put the book down and I am awaiting the next! and I have a long time to wait!!! I have come to love the characters, I laughed, I cried, I wished for Rosenzwieg's and Hattie's souls. I have all the books in hardback and cant wait till the movie comes out! To Lahaye and Jenkins, I say: "Bravo! I was moved! Keep churning them out!!" I have followed it all in my Bible. I read "Apolyon" in two days! I was moved and inspired. If I could I would give the book(and the series) as many stars as I could!! Bravo, Bravo! A thousand times Bravo!!
Rating: Summary: Holds Your Attention Review: The entire series, from "Left Behind" to Apollyon", has held my attention. The fact that I just found out about these books has allowed me to read them in quickly in succession. The only negative thing now is that I must wait until August for the next book. "Apollyon" was action-packed, the most gruesome thanks to the locusts and yet keeps the reader's full attention. Whether it was wondering when Buck would get home, if Hattie or Chloe would actually have a baby in that terrible world, what would the witnesses do next, Tsion's intrepretation of the next event or if Nicholae would destroy more of the Tribulation Force, my attention was keenly focused on this material. Another benefit is that I have found a deeper desire to try and read Revelations again. Thanks for an exciting series and I look for to reading "Assasins".
