Summary: Inspiring, exciting, and thought provoking--another winner!!
Review: This series to date has caused me to re-examine myself and has encouraged me to read the Bible daily and try to live life as a true Christian. I appreciate the help these books have given me--the inspiration to strengthen my spiritual life. They also left such a strong impression on my husband that he now better understands the importance of faith, Mass, and Scripture etc... One critic claimed these writers to be "wolves in sheep's clothing", however, these writers seek to deepen people's faith and help them see the necessity of belief in Christ for salvation. The "wolf" or devil as the critic wrote would strive to lead us away from Christ not to Him. It is wise to remember that the greatest trick the devil ever did was prove to the world that he doesn't exist. Lastly, another critic wrote that the characters a re petty etc...--but they are humans striving to be better--as these books encourage us to do--if they were perfect little angels, then they would be unrealistic, and readers would have a difficult time identifying with them. Thank you to the series for opening my eyes to a lot of things I did't see before and for providing me with non-stop entertainment.

Summary: There are better Rapture novels
Review: I did not find this story as believable as I think it should have been. Probably the best Rapture novel on the market right now--in my opinion the best ever written--is "The Last Day," by Glenn Kleier, which I read several months ago. It has the realism, intensity and suspense that makes for an incredibly exciting and unforgettable story. The ending is inspired and totally unexpected. If you liked "Appollyon," "Tribulation" and "Left Behind," you'll enjoy "The Last Day" even more.

Summary: I could not put it down.
Review: I began reading the Left Behind Series just before Easter. Two weeks later I found myself waiting for the sixth book to be published! I have avoided Rapture and Tribulation books in the past. They were frightening to me. Somehow this series captured me and I find myself comforted by the truths revealed from the scriptures. I highly recommend this text-based, well-written series to anyone curious about the book of Revelation, the Rapture, or End Times. This is an A-One read.

Summary: A "must-read" book!
Review: This book is by far the best of the series. It leaves you breathless as to what will happen next. Jump to the real book (Bible) and find out! Fascinating.... gripping.... Don't be LEFT BEHIND!!!!

Summary: An enlightenling, suspense-filled book and wonderful series.
Review: Bravo, to Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins! I've been educated in an unobtrusive, yet exciting way. "Appolyon" is your best yet! I read "Left Behind" when it was first published, and went quite a while without realizing there were more books to come. When I found out there were three more books in the series, I eagerly rushed out to buy them and read them in a matter of days. I just couldn't put them down!

Summary: It was the best i'de ever read in my life.
Review: I have never read a book so intence that kept you just stuck on it. I love it! I really reckomend this book to almost any age that understands the Rapture. It was so biblically guided. you new it was true. It made Revalations alot easier to explain. I wish every body new about this book so they could read it. You will know what will happen in the future that is if you believe in the Bible.

Summary: This book was absolutely explosive, better than the last 4!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It was simply explosive! There was no shortage of action or suspense. Read it and you'll see. If you're a fan of the series, you'll be totally absorbed. I laughed, I cried, I gripped my book with fear, I sighed with relief. In short, this book is a work of pure genius.

Summary: one-dimensional characters and dispensationalist propaganda
Review: I've read every book in this series (borrowed from a friend) and am incresingly frustrated at the authors' inability to create characters that are anything other than victims of the plot in which they are trapped. All their actions read like something from a comic book. What is also distressing is that the authors appear to be using this story as a thinly veiled attempt to prove their personal theological ideas. The Christians in the book are weak, powerless, petty, and usually self-serving. They scoff at the suffering that surrounds them, and the Holy Spirit does seems to be replaced by the human spirit in all of their 'triumphs'. This book is distressing in its pridefulness.
