Rating: Summary: Will the MIddle of the Week ever get here? Review: Tribulation Force was the best so far, in my opinion and I hope I am entitled to my opinion. I don't want offend those who think that I am a non-christian because I didn't give this 5 Stars. Gee, aren't we suppose to be the light of the world. Aren't we better than this?Back to the book: It started roughly 18 months after Left Behind, but now three books later we are no closer to the middle of Daniel's week than when we began. I think it is time to start speeding things along. I realize that mostly Christians are reading this but, the message is for non-believers. It has to be written to capture their attention or as so many are saying, "You're only preaching to the Choir". I read that they are planned a total of 12 books in the series. I could be wrong. I would recommend no more than three and that includes Assassins coming out in August. Again, as others have said, "Direct people to the Scriptures, The Word, The Living Bible, Jesus Christ." Don't expect a book, other than the Bible to convince them of the future.
Rating: Summary: Seems to be getting away from the message Review: I have read all of the Left Behind books and the first was okay, but the 2nd, and 3rd were great, but the 4th slowly started to lose my interest and this 5th episode was annoying. It was not annoying in regards to the scripture and the tie ins there, or of the Two witnesses, but I am really tired of the love triangles and Hattie liking Ernie and Doc liking Hattie and their chit chats like high school children. I'm also a little tired of 5 books of listening to the repetion of why Hattie won't be a Christian and come on, Chaim, wake up! I agree with the bible that no matter how obvious it appears, no matter what is said or done, people will not believe. Lastly, is Nicolae that incompetent that he can't catch Steele and Buck flying in and out the country two or three times a book? Buck, nearly gets killed falling from the Lear and now he easily flys out in a fighter jet. I am looking forward to Assassins, but I hope it is better than this book. I realize time is of the essence, but maybe two books a year wasn't such a great idea.
Rating: Summary: Incredible Review: The entire series is extremely well written and thought provoking, but this latest installment keeps those die-hard Christians as well as the rest of us on the edge of our seat. Great characterizations and phenomenal detail of the action make this book a great story, whether you belive in the second coming of Christ or not. Can't wait for the next one, and tell everyone if they want a great thriller series, this one is it, and this book is by far the best. Everyone should think about this after they read it, so they don't get left behind. Excellent story all around.
Rating: Summary: Wait a minute here . . . Review: If Apollyon the Destroyer had his head on straight he'd vaporize every last copy of these comic books Tyndale is shoving down our throats twice a year. Rayford Steele ? Who's he, Remington Steele's brother ? Buck ? Do YOU know anyone actually named Buck ? I don't. Chloe ? That's a perfume. Nicolae Carpathia ? NICOLAE CARPATHIA ? ? ? Where did our intrepid authors come up with these corny names, an old copy of Boy's Life ? Then there's these goofy pregnancies . . . didn't Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble both conveniently get pregnant when people started losing interest in The Big Show ? These fellows have taken the sacred book of Revelation and turned it into a cheap soap opera. I'm a Christian and I'm very embarrassed right now.
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Book Review: This is a very good, very accurate book (in terms of the Bible vs this book). While I don't criticize the book for anything it has in it, I'm criticizing it because I thought the other ones were better. The one that had me hanging by the seat of my pants was Nicolae. But still, this is an excellent book that I recommend that you read.
Rating: Summary: Another success.... looking forward to the next one! Review: Just ANOTHER awesome fold of this series. They leave me ending one tape set in total anticipation of the next one. I only wish they could be produced faster! none the less... I'll be waiting for the next release!! I CAN understand why people would give the books bad reviews, and make the claims about bad writing, etc. Sure I can. How? Easy - - they're non believers, back slidden Christians, or someone reading the series who wants to believe, but whom Satan may still have a hold on... or a person with a similar problem. If someone does not share our beliefs, our passion about Christ and about His word, or is trying to prove Christianity wrong... they're just not going to "get it". The Story is going to be just that... a story to them. They want this series to meet up to other standards of other "fascinating" books they have read. They *will* be confused but enough truth shines through that they will be angered and driven to say something negative. Just my opinion.....
Rating: Summary: One word.....WOW!!! Review: My father got me started on the series and even he was amazed at how I just tore through them! This book is by far the best. It really makes you think about your christianity. There is no age limit on this book...my dad is 45 and I'm 16, so start reading now!!
Rating: Summary: WOW!!! a reader from Houston Joseph Sysling Review: I have to say that Mr. Jenkins and Mr. LaHaye are great Men of God...Their Books Just Blow me away...I am a new christain and I have really never Read a Book all the way through until I have Picked up on the Left Behind Books...Keep up the Great work and can't wait till the Movie comes out
Rating: Summary: Excellent book for all christians to read Review: This series has been the BEST series that I have read. I was raised in a christian home and have been in church all my life. These books really brought home to me what it will be like when the tribulation does occur. I know that I am saved but after reading the first book "Left Behind" I just had to stop and reconfirm in my mind that God was in my life. We get so busy in our personal lifes that we tend to take God for granted and the salvation that he so freely gives. Thanks for opening my eyes and helping me to see more clearly. I can't wait for the next book!
Rating: Summary: Not realistic Review: This is just not credible enough in the way it's developed to create the wrath of God tension and fear you expect in a judgment day thriller. A far, far more exciting and thrilling read is THE LAST DAY, by Glenn Kleier. If you want your hair to stand on end, read LAST DAY and see what a real End Time experience is.
