Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The Glass Warrior (Demon Crown Trilogy, Book 1)
Review: I read this book 11 years ago and it has stuck with me all of these years. The characters are well planned and leave the reader wanting more. It is well worth the read and gears you up for an outstanding adventure. The characters are heroic and tragic without being steeped in misery like some other fantasy characters like Thomas Covenant or Tanis of Dragonlance fame. The book gives the reader enough information without giving all the answers and lays a excellent grounwork for a second and third book. The only drawback was the lack of information and the unfortunate loss of one of the main characters (read to find out which one) and is a satisfying read.
