Review: Peter began this epic with Descent. Well, here's the second of the trilogy to come! New characters and shifting character motives keep you guessing at what Dravis is really up to, what he wants, and why the aliens want to take over the Sol System.Telep's writing is even better than in the previous book, though the editing still didn't come through. I would LOVE to see this in a movie format. Telep has inspired me in my own writing ventures to not only write what I know, but to do it well. To the Descent community, Mr. Telep, you are a hero.

Review: Peter has captured the true art of Descent. I just finished the book and found myself in the world of Descent. I felt that I was there with the characters. Peter has inspired the world with Descent and hopefully more to come. Good Luck, Peter.

Review: That one word does a good job at describing this novel. It's the second instalment in a planned trilody (I believe part 3, Equinox will be out around November 1999) and it's everything the original Descent novel is, and more. Peter Telep has succeeded in capturing the claustrophobic atmosphere of Descent, and actually attaching a compelling story to it. If only the games were more like the novels. In three words : buy this book!

Review: The first book was excellent; this one was OUTSTANDING! Telep continues on the storyline he started in the first story and improves upon it by adding more characters, more action, and more bad guys. If you're into Descent, get into this book! You won't be dissapointed.

Review: The first Descent novel successfully drew me in, so I had to buy this one, too. I was not disappointed. Peter Telep again captures the spirit of Descent in such a way that even the most avid fans will be intrigued by this book. The descriptions are realistic and accurate, and the plot explains alot from both the "Descent" series and the first "Descent" novel. This is definitely a book I will read again, and again, and again. A word of caution: this one will not make much sense without either reading the first book or playing the game. I recommend both to get the full effect.

Review: This book made me read all day. I couldn't put it down and itdidn't have nearly as much action as the first. They just keepgetting better and better!!

Review: well the cover is amazing can you imagine being strapped into one of those.what a ride thatd be.hes done it again in # 2 and i say its to bad its 5mos until #3.peter has been around a long time but i think hes finally got himself a big one here. but i likedded space also both in book and on tv.this would make a GREAT screen epic.if your a marine or a marine fan youve got to read this book.the characters draw you in and make you part of there lifes you get angry,sad etc as they do and when one gets wasted you get downright pissed off against the programmers and the creator.but the superior human brain is to much and they find were not that easy to control.especially a marines brain.they say an e.k.g. of a marine doesnt come across as normal anyway and thats in a human body.what chance do drones have.with sarge in with them its gonna be booty kicking time big time.its one of the few books i simply cant put down once i start and when not reading it im thinking about it.so i give a WARNING i say again a WARNING if your not ready for an intense trip that WONT let you go and WILL hook you like the most potent drug out DO NOT i say DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK RUN AWAY REALLY FAST.seconds only are all it takes and you WILL join the rest of us as watchers of the next release day.if you cannot take the strain of intense adrealine rush or are prone to high blood pressure or anxiety please see your doctor before you attempt to start this book.after will be to late it will have you then you WILL be a FAN. have fun enjoy GOD bless,joe marine semper-fi
