Rating: Summary: Take me! Take me! Review: I would've given the book more than three/plus stars had it been expanded and edited. But it is a good original imaginable short read that tends to be just a little wordy and confusing as it tries to fill in needed info. But please please please give me a round trip ticket from Earth to Planet Tara - a return to simple innocent life where peace calm love faith and helping with the family and being helped by the family matters. Two earth friends--Florida women baby boomers--are CHOSEN because of their personalities and qualities by an alien family. The family protects polices provides and lives peacefully (until provoked) among the inhabitants on Tara. The family has been an unseen big brother/guardian angel for the two women for many years. Over that time two of the male aliens have fallen in love with the two women. The time comes for the women to MEET the family and a beam of light transports them from their backyard and to Tara. They ARE TOLD that earth visits can continue with the understanding they must always return to Tara (must always return to learn work with and live with the multi-generation family). and HOPEFULLY form a relationship--monogamous and loving--with the two males to help in expanding the family. The two Florida friends have control over and determine the extent and path of the relationships and their destinies.

Rating: Summary: Impressed...But Review: IMPRESSED with the way author pulled me into story(this one also the contemporary one--The Bonus) after only the first few pages so that you're not sure if you're reading fiction or non-fiction. BUT STILL this book and 1st book (The Bonus) are unedited (straight from author putting thoughts together)/non-advertised--reason supposed to come out in edited '02 verisons. Both 2002 versions will be in one book as a complete story. PLUS in the unedited version I would've liked more intimacy between male/female charcters and understand the new edited versions will have more detailed relations. And I'm curious how author will TOTALLY tie both The Bonus and Sister Planet Tara together in new book. So really i guess I'm saying I'm now hooked into buying/reading the edited version. LOOKING forward to author's five star 2002 edition!

Rating: Summary: What a Ride! Review: The book at first appears to be a simple ordinary sci-fi story that pulls you in and you can't put it down until you find out how the story ends. Along the way you get issues thrown at you that range from interracial relationships between older women/younger men, sex, parenting duties, the perception of what we find attractive, and life and death issues that come at you before you know it and with minority women in their forties as the heroines (Whew!). A little wordy sometimes with descriptives but I enjoyed the book so much that I reread the book after reading it the first time! When is the movie due out! Also downloaded (computerized-The Bonus) first book by author. Follows some of the same patterns as Sister Planet Tara. Other reviewers seem to be waiting on paperback version of The Bonus. I want the paperback version and want to know when is the movie coming out on that one too! Both books are worth five stars each. Very good entertainment to escape into.

Rating: Summary: Holds the Imagination! Review: Two women (one Black and the other *Japenese-American & college friends) in their forties snatched from a Florida backyard ends up on Planet Tara. Become love interest of aliens (human looking younger men). This was the unedited version with author's original thoughts and writing. I gave this book and the other book three stars and was waiting on the edited version. Looks like the end of October 2002 before it comes out. 2002 edited revised Paperback and hard copy not out yet (but e-book just released over with the publisher and it is AWESOME!!!). The author tells why the edited book first and the story works. It is believable beyond belief. The *Japanese-American character is now Chinese-American but that entire book is worth 10 starsss! I have to admit THE BONUS is my favorite and the BESTTTT!!!
