The Grail War

Summary: MEANDERING BUT AS ARTICULATE AS THE PREQUEL
Review: I doubt anyone will read this, but The Grail War is a well written continuation of Monaco's version of the Arthurian Grail myth centered around Parsival, who, in his middle years, sets out on a different quest to reunite himself with his son Lonegrin (sp?). There's no real plot beyond that, just a sense of aimless wandering, but Monacos flawless, rough textured, and exceptionally realistic prose makes The Grail War good if somewhat directionless reading.
