Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Vampires' review of vampire book Review: I like horror novels and espeally vampire novels like to see what people say about us. I read this book and I liked it Alaric reminds me of someone I once knew. it is written well this story and would make a good series. I searched and found her website and it interesting.... freewebs dot com / elven_vampire /. The story is very good, and I am looking to the release of Alaric, the second book. I know a lot about vampires for I am one and we do exist. I am not dead and you would not know I am different to look at me. That is to my advantage and I know many more of my kind though we are solitary beings and we walk in sunlight. So if anyone wants to read a good vampire novel, by a very good writer of horror they should read this book. merci
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: I liked it Review: I paid for a copy of this book, thereby have the right to review it. I have no complaints except I would like a longer version of it with more action. It is fiction so anything goes and it is delightfully so here. I know of another book, with a elf-vamp and it was good too. "Best Of The Realms, by R.A.Salvatore". He uses the words...elven vampire as well. I even scanned this story and then had my computer read it back to me.Very nice to listen to as it flowed smoothly, showing good writing. I think it would also be a good audio book, maybe the publisher will turn it into those as well. I think it is a good refreshing light horror novel. Authors write to tell a story and for money. Just as most people do a job and expect to get paid. Fanfiction is for free, just for fun. I know publishers do edit and work on the covers. They have to approve everything about a book, having final say. I hope this writer doesn't quit because of what is here on the reviews. I can't recall seeing such animosity towards one writer as I do here. A personal attack that is uncalled, casting aspersions? The author has a right to speak, only fair that all know why this is happening. Not just those who hate the author for personal reasons. Reviews supposed to be written by those who actually read the book. Some of you might in your opinion be right, and perhaps not. But theres no excuse to act this way. Could it be some of you are influenced by the green eyed monster?

I happened to see the reviews here and was curious about the book. I ordered it. I have found only a few errors, that the editor must have missed. But the book was quite enjoyable to read. The author was effective in telling the story. Her charactors were very likable, and the scenes very realistic. I also did some research on elves and vampires on the net, out of curiosity after reading it. Seems she did some research too. The charactor of Alaric is much as I have read for these beings. I spent an evening curled up in bed with this very book. I enjoyed the time I spent reading it, and wish there were more.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Don't waste your money Review: This book is terrible. It's full of mistakes. The writer needs to learn how to write in English before she gets something published again.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Plagiarism, wot? Review: THIS is not an original novel. THIS is fanfiction. Anne Rice and Tolkien fanfiction, to be more precise. You DO know that you can be sued for plagiarism, don't you? And Mrs Rice is VERY particular about her fanfiction and the like.Oh, and guy on the book cover is actually a badly photoshopped picture of Orlando Bloom who looks like a furry catapillar had crawled onto his face.
