Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A good evenings read Review: Bought the book for Christmas. As I love vampire stories. This one I found to be different. The vampire is an elf. It has a touching love story, with lots of paranormal. No porn in it, so even kids can read this one. It is well written. This writer knows how to tell a story. I felt like I was in the story. I can't wait for the sequel to this one. The website listed, tells about it. I hope it is soon. Will follow this authors' efforts.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: A Prime Example of Narcissism Review: Don't part with your money-- not for this tripe. The plot barely exists. The book is rife with spelling and grammatical errors. Half the book is written in sentence fragments. It's trite, it's sprawling, and it's poorly written. I can't imagine that an editor looked at this; it's simply too full of mistakes to have been proof-read. Furthermore, the author seems bent on trying (lamely-- and failing) to convince the reader that the style is grand, the characters complex, and the plot original. None of this is true. The typos are so frequent and so laughable that it's impossible to regard this book with any respect. They really do make it difficult to read, and everything else in the book is so thin, dull, and occasionally silly, that it's simply not worth the effort.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Unfair reviews of a good book Review: First off, I am the author of said book. I have a hate fanclub, that is doing its best to belittle my first book written two years ago and myself. One even told me to die. They have written anything that they possibly can, that is a slam against me, repeatly. None have actually bought this book,so are uninformed to its whole contents. My publishers' editor did check it, for those who wonder and edited and approved the covers. I wrote fanfic, and a certain small group of women with a gang mentality decided they didn't like it. Found out I wrote a book, and came after that.Easier to get to me, than other fanfic writers, since I am more in the public eye. So I ask readers to judge it according to your own views.... (...)
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: I'd Give it Less, if I Could Review: First, as an advocate of originality and poetic licence, I have to say that I find this book to have neither. It's a classic tale of a half-blessed, half-demonic being trying to overcome his/her curse and regain their divine rights. Further, she adds a cursed girlfriend and they go through hell and highwater together, which might have been a good story... Had I not read an almost identical one about a million times before. Secondly, a quick glance at the cover shows that the publisher didn't think enough of it to commission an original design, nor to simply do it in solid color. They obviously weren't expecting it to sell well nor, for that matter, to draw any attention at all. Finally, I don't care what the reason given, posting just to excuse your actions makes you look petty and childish. Whether or not the things we 'haters' are saying are true, that does not give anyone, even the author, the right to say we are wrong. Our opinions are no less valid than the fans. Long story short, I wouldn't give my worn-out shoe sole for this book. I have to say, though, that I find this interesting. There are as many people saying they like the book as there are saying they hate it, and most of the people who liked it reviewed within three days of each other. One even reviewed twice. An attempt to bolster the rating, perhaps?
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: more from a vampire Review: I bet you didn't know that some of the stuff mentioned is real? About psi-vamps, demons, ghost, elves and astral travel? Teaches as well as entertains. Her next promises to be exciting, and more knowledge is in that book, including spells. I hope there will be a female vampire with blond hair from France in the next one? I really like this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wife and I really like this book Review: I bought this book for my wife who loves this kind of book. I have also read it. My wife likes it very much, and I thought that the paranormal adventures there were very good. The alternate time travel was good too. I almost got sea sick. I thought it interesting and not too much romance thank goodness at least for me. I have read all that is here and I wonder if some of you know a few truths? That whatever you put in public domain or message boards that you write, you are libel for every word? That you could be sued for it. If you think there were errors that is one thing. But to say she stole and if you were unjust is saying this... if there is nothing that matches you will find yourselves in hot water. So be careful about throwing stones. Now like one reviewer said...vampires, elves and the south don't belong to any one person. Yeah she might have made some mistake but you are making large ones. Janet and I agree it is good, and deserves a honest review, so here it is. Read it if you like paranormal stories, and vampires.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: I didn't like it. Review: I didnt' like this book. I don't think I would have made all the mistakes the author made. I didn't really like the story because there were so many mistakes they kept distracting me. I also think having a vampire and an elf in the same story is kind of weird, because aren't elves supposed to be in midivel times? Vampires are different...my sister says that only people turn into vampires cuz they're made different from elves. I think the writer needs a teacher to look at her book. Or a editor.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: I liked it, and don't see a problem Review: I dont quiet agree, I have read the book I also gave several copies out for presents. So it takes place in the south, where the author herself is from. Nothing of Ann Rice is in it. Anymore than gone with the wind is from Ann Rices novels. Neither is Tolkien, unless it is elves, but there are several books on elven vampires, that I have read, and are available here in fact.I don't see anything from any famous novel. I have read fanfiction, and this isn't it for this is a nice novel that has a good story. Why are you people picking on this writer? Apparently she told the truth, you are only out to hurt her. It is easy for you to throw rocks while you stay hidden, since no one knows you. If you don't like the book don't read it. I don't know about the cover but I would say tell whoever is in charge of the covers. But I did enjoy the book. Her other books look pretty good as well. I don't see what the problem is.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: intriguing fantasy Review: I enjoyed the premis and found the writing descriptive and involving. But for me it was too short...I wanted more. A sequel? Ok.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: I'm Gonna Put this Simply Review: I have read this book, by the way. I, unlike your publishers, am a professional editor, though I choose to do my job freelance. Might I just say that, if I were to take my red pen to your book, there wouldn't be enough of the original text left to line a birdcage. I'm amazed that this managed to make it though the publisher's editor, and more surprised that they missed so many fragments and misspellings. The story itself was vapid and completely Orlando Bloom-esque, though I'm surprised you forgot Troy. Now, if I may act my age, I must beseech you, in the name of the English language, do not continue with this series!
