Review: I read this book eagerly, and was shocked to find that Anders Bruce is only 12 years old! That boy must be a prodigy! This book is necessary to anyone who enjoys science fiction, especially if they're a fan of the series. Right from the start you are thrown into action and intrigue. If you buy this book and enjoy it, the first book, The Early Battles (which Mr. Bruce published at the age of 10!), will be just as good for you. I'd reccommend reading The Early Battles first, but this book can stand alone if you read the introduction. I eagerly await the third book, and any other books by this child author!

Review: I was so impressed by the writing of this fledgling teenager. My children have purchased both of his books and love them. Anders has a way of composing his stories so we can see each character and live the scenes to the fullest. A deligent young writer should go far in life.
