Rating: Summary: WHERE'S THE SEQUAL??? Review: I'm not going to go into depth about how much I loved this book and why since I read it years ago. However, my copy of the book said that there was suppose to be a sequal. I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Did he never write it??? :-(
Rating: Summary: i loved the book Review: I've read the book and it's awesome. To person in Philly, yes there is a second book, i got mine as a birthday gift so i don't where you can get, but it's out there somewhere. Please make all the books into movies if someone who reads this makes movies. It would be an awesome edition to the LOTR fantasy world.
Rating: Summary: Impressive Review: Mr. Hand displays a lively since of humor as well as considerable talent as a storyteller with his book, "The Oneprince." In my opinion, the first half was better, the characters seemed to lose personality in the second half. In closing, this is one of the best Christian fantasy books since the Chronicles of Narnia and I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Review: Oneprince dealt with many serious biblical parallels. But its hilarious dialogue complemented the depth in the story. This is the kind of novel that should be turned into a movie.
Rating: Summary: It's Pretty Good Review: This book is a funny fantasy about a prince who does NOT want to be king, despite his father's dying wish. His throne is immediately usurped and the would be king escapes into exile along with a bunch of strange characters including a naive rat and a talking bush. This story leaves you hanging and I'm sorry that there apparently is no sequel and so few people have read it.
Rating: Summary: Intresting Review: This Book is about a kingdom thrown into turmiol after there only king dies, leaving his throne to his cowardly son, Quad, who doesn't want it. He (Quad),a talking rat and some other companions set out on a exciting and thrilling adventure in search of the ONEPRINCE the only hope of keeping the kingdom together and the Dark Forces from destroying the land. The book builds up to a dramatic climax, which ends holding you on the edge.
Rating: Summary: Unique Review: This book is impressive in that it mananges to have villians that are sympathetic and believable, heroes that are simultaneously charming and humorous, and an engaging plot. Mr. Hand's quirky sense of humor is combined with a serious, somber mood, with the result being a truly interesting hybridic fantasy. I'm waiting with bated breath for the sequel to come out, as it must eventually. I just hope Mr. Hand doesn't take a decade to write the next book in the series, like some authors I could mention...
Rating: Summary: Great Adventure! Review: This is a gem of a story that a friend of mine recommend to me some years ago. Through the presistance of that friend I was also able to read the sequel before it was published and to learn a little bit about the making of the story and the man responsible for its life. This is a fine tale of a young boy who doesn't want to be king, a talking rat and a villian with designs on more than a little kingdom... So the adventure begins... Bill Hand has crafted a story in the fine tradition of Tolkien and CS Lewis... It will cause the reader to laugh, cry, and sometimes leave one breathless as young Quad and Friend Rat venture out in search for the OnePrince, who is the only hope for the kingdom... Look beyond the tale to the Truth behind the legend. Remember Bill Hand, I'm sure the future holds many more tales for Quad and Friend Rat.
