Summary: Well worth it.
Review: One of the better ones in the series. Complete with births, deaths, tidal waves, lava flows, specs on 2 new spaceship designs, a new alien race, learning to communicate with said race, and dealing with rescue/replacement after a long enough time for your kids to have kids. We even get a couple of chapters from the flowen perspective and another couple from the new alien perspective. Sounds packed? It is, but it wraps it all up well with a look at how humans might start using a whole new solar system.
