Summary: Star Wars Journal, Hero for Hire
Review: Han was never one of my favorite characters. Oh, I like him, I just always liked Luke and Leia better, since Luke is a nicer person than Han, and is never a jerk like he sometimes is, and Leia is a strong female. This book however, changed my opinion of Han completley. Though I think the idea of him being interviewed by one of the monk guys in Jabba's Palace is silly, the content itself is excellent. It brings to light a side of Han we have never seen before; a caring and vunerable interior. This brings to the front not only a different point of view from which to see A New Hope through, but also Han's deepest thoughts and feelings, and how much he was really starting to care for Luke and Leia. Though the writing could have been embelished at times, and I wish it were longer, it was overall a good book. I do wish though, that all the journals didn't have to take place during A New Hope. I would be more interested in knowing what my favorite characters were thinking during Return of the Jedi or The Empire Strikes Back. Though this one takes place during the beginning of Return of the Jedi it still only tells the story of A New Hope. Why? Anyway, in general this was a good book and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Han, and even those who don't since it might change your mind! This book would be best for those in the intended age group, though anyone could read it as long as they don't expect Shakespeare.

Summary: Lame
Review: I did not like this book at all. It was just pretty lame throughout. The interview idea was stupid. Do read the princess leia journal, Jude watson is very in touch with Star Wars and character personalities(which is what journals deal with) If your withing the age limit, go for the luke Skywalker journal, If your older you will find it boring. Don't read this one, it's a waste of time.

Summary: Star Wars Journal, Hero for Hire
Review: I liked this book because it was based on Star Wars. Star Wars intrest me in many diffrent ways. I like it because it uses high teck weapons & the caractors. this book is diffrent from other books. In the beginning it realy grabs your attention, at the end it gets even more exciting.

The best part of this book is when Jabas spokesmen talks to Han about money matters.

One of the moast vivid elements in this book is the caractors. The caractors are: Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princsas Laya, Jaba the Hut,and Chewbaca. Han is the leader. Han, Luke, and Laya are all humans Jaba, Chewbaca, are alians. The conflict in the story is the Rebals agenst the Empire. Reabls are good, the Empire is bad. The Reabls try to keep the Empire from takeing over the galxey.

Summary: Could be better!
Review: I really thought it would be a good book.I thought it would talk about stuff we didn't know about Han Solo.If you have seen the star wars trilogy the whole book is old news.Plus the idea of the book being a interview is lame. It would be a better cassette then a book. The only way you know what's happening is through what they say.If you have seen the trilogy don't read it.If you haven't and want to read it don't except to much. I would give it less stars but that would be to mean.

Summary: Read This Book
Review: I think you should definitely read this book. In this book Han Solo expresses his deepest personal feelings. He also explains parts of the Star Wars story that weren't in any of the movies. For example, he describes when he was in the Imperial army, where he met and saved Chewbacca who was a slave to the army. If you like Star Wars, you will really enjoy this book.

Summary: One of the better Star Wars books
Review: Recently freed from carbonite, Han Solo (captin of the "Millennium Falcon") finds himself in Jabba the Hutt's dungeon. Han is sentenced to death. Han reluctantly tells a B'omarr monk a little of his hitory. The monk's job is to record prisoners' histories. The monk asked to be in the cell with Han Solo

Summary: Cool!
Review: This a really good book and I would reccomend it to any Star Wars because it gives an account of Han Solo's stay in Jabba's dungeon. It's cool how a B'omarr monk comes in and interviews Han on his journeys and adventures. A must have for any Star Wars fan.

Summary: great!
Review: This is the best book i've ever read. I am a 35 year old Star wars fan...and this is the most intriguing look into the personality of Han i have ever seen.
A must read for all Star Wars fans!

Summary: Solo, Leia, Luke, and adventure
Review: Unlike the Luke and Leia's Star Wars Jornals, the events are recorded after the events of Star Wars: a new hope instead of during, though it only covers the events of episode IV. Also, it's a conversation instead of a "solo" effort. And at a time when our always on his feet Han solo is very vunerable and worried about Leia. Yet, he doesn't mind speaking honestly about his hate at first site with the princess, and his growing attachment to "little brother type luke". Though it's as hard for me to imagine this Monk living in nasty old Jabba's palace, yet being left alone, as it is for Han Solo, its an entertaining read. I guess the hybernation sickness could have had him imagining things. Because he sure had a nice long time to tell all his episode IV history.
