Rating: Summary: What a Character!!! Review: Tasha Fidelli is a great character--as feisty and funny as any I can think of and enough reason to read the book. But the plot is so exciting--it carries you along, page to page, chapter to chapter and you just can't put it down. The descriptions of the places Tasha finds herself are fabulous and the story is involving and entertaining. If you like fantasy, this is your book. If you like time travel this is your book. If you like adventure this is your book. I'd like more please.
Rating: Summary: Imaginative Adventure! Review: Tasha, a modern co-ed, lands in the turmoil of Greece, during the Roman rule of Octavian. She needs to find a way to time-travel home to New York City before a mischievous king completes his horrible plans. We salute Tasha Fidelli. She's inventive, humorous, and often becomes the butt of her many schemes to get home. Looking forward to a sequel.
Rating: Summary: New Yorker in Xena Times. Review: The main character is Tasha M. Fidelli, a fun-loving Brooklynite in her mid-twenties. Not late teens when most of us knew everything to succeed in life. Late twenties when most of us feel the world pushing us down. Not Tasha though, she marches with "Life is forward." and works all the angles. Daddy pays, Mama prays, and Tasha sways in her own rascal adventures. One day, the gods send Tasha backwards into the age of gods, women warriors, and hardships galore. There's no hand-out from Daddy, or food mart for convenience, or charities for the down-on-their-lucks. Welcome to the Rough. This action story builds up steam like a rollercoaster ride, painting intense situations and somehow marrying them with humor. Then, whoosh! An adventure, Amazon Warrior tale, romance, survival book, alternative medicine plug, and a great story with a murder mystery packed inside. Overall, I loved it! Keep going, Tempesta!
Rating: Summary: poor editing and copywriting Review: This book is a good story. It is innovative. But it contains far too many errors in research to be enjoyable (poor editing) and the typos and word substitutions make it difficult to read (poor copywriting). I would not buy it unless I knew nothing about history, geography, physics, grammar, etc. or if I just didn't care about all that reality stuff and only wanted a good story.
Rating: Summary: Empowering and enjoyable! Review: This time-travel adventure features a spunky young woman applying all that she has to survive the challenges in an awful realm.
