Summary: A World With No Adults
Review: Man, I wish there were no grown-ups, they always mess things up. This is what many think when they get in trouble with an adult. But, what if there really were no adults? In The Girl Who Own A City, that is exactly what happens. Everyone above the age of 13 is killed by a virus. The children that survive were left with nothing, not even electricity. This is a wonderul book to read because it teaches kids how hard life would be with no adults while still taking them on a great adventure. The book also talks about leadership skills and how important it is to share. The only part of the book that I didn't agree with was the lack of information about dead bodies. Throughout the whole book there was no mention of seeing a body.

Summary: A Good Book
Review: The Girl Who A City. Is about how hids rebuild the world because everybody over the age of 13 has been wiped out by a deadly virus. Lisa and her brother Todd try to rebuild Glen Bard. Also other Gangs try to take over the city. there are some questions about the book. Why didn't Lisa take the offer from Tom Logan?Where did the dead bodies go. Maybe the kids buried the bodies. Also, she didn't take the offer probably because she didn't need help. This book is exciting. This is just my opinion and judje it for yourself.

Summary: My Opinion
Review: The story is about a girl, Lisa, and her brother Todd. Their family died and the two and others were forced to survive by themselves. I have some questions. What did happen to those dead bodies that were all killed by a virus? The end of the book leaves the reader up in the air. It would be nice if there was a sequel.

Summary: Lisa's Quest
Review: I think the Book The Girl Who Owned A City was a great book. Lisa, Jill, Todd, and Craig all tried helping each other develop Lis's city. The part i liked in the book was the part when Scott Donald Mennie Tried taking over Lisa's place and took Jill and scared her. Then Lisa came and asked where Jill was. He said he had her in a room but he didnt hurt her. He just scared her to tell them where lisa and they were. Then Lisa got Jill out of the room. Scott Donal Mennie gave the guard dog poisoned meat and it killed the dogs. I really liked the book and usually I am not a reading person. This book show how some kids can do thing on their own.

Summary: WAY TO MANY QUESTIONS
Review: The book was ok but I didn't agree whith their stratagy. it was allways stupid attacking without a stratagy at all. Lisa wasn't aggresive enough. She needs to enlarge her army. She wouldn't have stood a chance against the general but it was funny when lisa punched him in the nose. Lisa and the chedester gang should join forces. Tom was aggresive and lisa was good at making strategies

Summary: Lots of Questions
Review: We read this book in my reading class. I thought I liked it, but some people might think other wise. There is one question that bothers me. Where did all the adults that died go? Lisa and her friends did not see any. The best part of the book was that (...). That is all I am going to tell you because you might like to read it, and I would certainly recommend it.

Summary: A Survival Story
Review: Do you think that you could live in a world with out no adults? Every child had to live when deadly virus swept the earth, killing everyone over the age of twelve. In the book, "The Girl Who Owned A City" by O.T.Nelson, life was a struggle for all the survivors especially when it came to finding food and provideding it for siblings, friends and neighbors. Lisa, a ten-year-old survivor, is very brave and determined. She lets no kind of obstacle get in her way to reach her goal which is to find food and supplies, medicine and first aid, and to help herslef and her brother Todd survive. I would recommend this book for any reader who wants to read a book about competition, loyalty, and independnece.

Summary: The Girl Who Owned a City
Review: i borrowed this book from a friend when i was eleven years old, and although it is not at all the kind of book that i normally gravitated to at that time, i loved it, and it has been one of the most influential books i read as a child. i thought about it for months after, and it almost haunted me throughout highschool until i finally located a copy of it and read it over again. the writing style is very simple and there are questions that the author leaves unanswered, but overall the message of the book is incredably powerful and meaningful.

Summary: The Girl who Owned a City
Review: The Girl Who owned a city is a great book that is about Lisa and Todd. There is a virus going around that kills everyone over the age of 12. All kids have to survive on their own. This is a story about how the kids survive and learn who the can or can't trust. They beat gangs and learn how to deal with life. This is an absolutely great book and I would reccomend it to all ages.

Summary: The Plague
Review: I believe that this book was good, yet the author doesn't answer all my questions. For instance, where did all the bodies go when the plague had swept the planet clean? Also, what happened to Logan and his gang? The book had a good story line, but it doesn't give all the information that I would like. I would like to know what's going to happen with Chicago. I wish that the author would write a sequel.
