Summary: Must Read!!!!!
Review: I have owned several sets of this series over the years. I have never been able to keep them, once loaned out they never return. I will not be loaning them out again. I have been waiting a long time, searching used books stores to find them.

The story and charactors are well written. Too many books in this genre are lacking here. Get it, read it, love it!

Summary: A screenplay in waiting.
Review: I picked up my first book in this trilogy many years ago and, as one of the other reviewers has put it, I anxiously awaited each sequel. All three volumes are still on my bookshelf and are well worn from frequent re-reading. This is a futuristic epic at its best. All of the elements are here: terrific characters, political intrigue, love, war and battle. It is extemely unfortunate a young Spielberg or Lucas has not come across this material. If handled correctly, it would make Star Wars look shallow and amateurish (and I love Star Wars). Needless to say, I highly recommend this series and wish it would be republished. Any publishers out there?

Summary: Get a copy and read!
Review: I read the first of these books when I was in 7th grade. It took me two years to locate a copy of the 2nd book and two more to find the 3rd. It was well worth the wait and I stayed up all night to read the final book. The characters are wonderfully crafted, the story line is multilevel. The only books I have read more times are "The Count of Monte Cristo" and "The Lord of the Rings". If you can locate a copy of these in a used book store, buy them! Don't let the romance novel apperance keep you from enjoying these great books.

Summary: Not enough people have read this trilogy.
Review: I read this trilogy for the first time a few years ago. Immediately I found myself entranced with not only the epic plot, brain-tickling technology, and intensely personal characters, but the scope and depth with which they were all written. I currently own books two and three (lucky finds liberated from second hand book stores whose owners would kick themselves for not keeping them for themselves), and am glad to have finally found the first book here. (*YAY! YAY!*) I would not hesitate to recommend these books to any lover of sci-fi, fantasy, OR techno-thrillers. Two thumbs up, and my big toes too for good measure.

Review: One of the best science fiction trilogies ever written. I never could understand why it disappeared from the shelves so fast and why the author didn't write more science fiction. Characters are real people with difficult conflicts between love, family, and duty. Wonderfully complex society developed by the author. Needs to be republished and a sequel to the trilogy written.

Summary: Awesome Reread!
Review: The three books comprising this series are all excellent, thoughtful and meaty. Well written, well fleshed out characters, and detailed settings make this a hard to put down read! I have all three books, and re-read them regularly.
