Summary: The past awakens
Review: The Vang are dead, or at least so the universe hopes. The old enemy, a parasite that regards other life forms as raw material. It's faster smarter, totally lethal and one of them just woke up !
Think Alien on steroids, think frightening in concept and you get some idea as to what this book delivers, find a copy you will not be disapointed.

Summary: Save the last bullet for yourself.......
Review: This is one of the best alien books ever written. I have had true nightmares after late night reading sessions. Warning, this book is not for the faint of heart. If you ever come across these omni parasites, save the last bullet for yourself.

PS This book is out of print, but a search of your local used book store could prove fruitful. I have a copy of both and would be willing to sell them for an outrageous price.

Summary: Brilliant. A must read if you appreciate Nightmares
Review: What a Book! I originally read the first 50 or so pages rapidly, then the last 150 or so paragraph by paragraph, occasionally having to put the book down and walk away. But I couldn't stay away. By comparison, I would recommend the entire Alien(s) series as happy fantasy stories for kids 8 and under. Makes you ill as you read the book and realize just how stupid humans get chasing the buck. Modern day parallels with business and society's modus vivendi are quite vivid
