Review: This is a book I have read and re-read. A story of a different world, a strong, honorable woman and difficult choices. Throw in a once-in-a-lifetime love and you have the makings of a story that stays with you long after you have finished the book. All of Joy Chant's books are wonderful escapes into other worlds, but with old fashioned heroism and morals.
