Summary: Alistair in outer space
Review: Alistair in outer space is about a little boy who is really smart and does everything right. One day Alistair was going to return his library books but when he got to the library he was abducted by aliens who call themselves Goots. The Goots wanted to take them to there home planet Gootula, But Alistair did not want to go because he had to return the library books in time. I'm not going to tell you what happens at the end so you'll have to read it for your self. This is not a very good book for little kids because it does not really teach them anything

Summary: Funny
Review: If your kids like funny books. Then i think they will like this one. In this book Alistair is a very organized and sensible kid that was just doing fine until the Goots took him into their space ship. The Goots weren't very good at directions and when they landed Alistair got off with out looking were he was. The Goots look like big blue cows and had orange suits on.

Summary: Alistair in Outer Space
Review: It's an amazing book and it's a terrible shame that the Alistair books are out of print. I can't imagine why! I would love to give this book and other Alistair books to my daughter's friends as gifts (she's almost 3), but haven't been able to find any more. The books are fun, the stories are interesting and kids absolutely love them!

Summary: Noah, the 4 year old book reviewer says:
Review: that he thinks this book is "awesome". It is now his new favorite. He especially liked the "Goots". Spoke about them for hours after the book was read to him. We were visiting friends and we had to "remove" the book from his site as we were leaving, for fear he'd want to take it home with him. I am now searching for the book for him and am finding it difficult to find. His Grandmother.

Summary: Alistair in Outer Space
Review: The book Alistair in Outer Space is about a kid named Alistair who is very sensible.
Alistair likes to read and he always brings his books back on time. Alistair gets taken by
outer space creatures and needs to get back in time to return his books to the library.
This book teaches kids that it is good to return things to were they belong and on
time. It also shows responsibility by having it be your responsibility to get things back to
who ever that thing belongs to.
This book is for ages five to about nine or so because after age nine you might
think that this book is kinda dumb.
This book was alright it was not the best book I ever read. The book was kinda
boring if you ask me.

Summary: Please Print MORE Alistar Books!
Review: We found Alistar in Outer Space at the library and immediately wanted to add it and other Alistar Grittle books to our home library! This is a children's book with a legitimate plot, fast paced story, and artwork that doesn't distract or confound. Alistar is a wonderful character with his actions lending great insight into his eccentric personality. He has a goals and motives and an excellent conflict. The dry humor in the tone and the excellent plot twist at the ending make it one of the few humorous, irony-filled books we have found (outside of Seuss.) The artwork is fabulous... brillant colors and clearly drawn, creative characters. Our kids (ages 4 and 2) were immediately drawn to the book by the ease of viewing afforded by the illustrations. We keep reading it because they are truly entertained by the story.
